  • US/ FL/ Fort Pierce/ East of St Lucie County Internationl Airport (KFPR) – A Bede BD-22 plane (N224BD) crashed during a test flight. The pilot died in the crash.

  • Bangladesh/ Rajshahi/ Shah Makhdum Airport (VGRJ) – A training Cessna-152 (S2-ADI) caught fire and crashed on the runway. The female trainee pilot died in the crash, another occupant was injured.

  • US/ FL/ Zephyrhills/ Zephyrhills Municipal Airport (KZPH) – An Apollo AG-1 Gyro (N914AG) impacted airport terrain shortly after takeoff. The 2 occupants onboard were not injured.

  • Venezuela/ del estado Cojedes/ del municipio Girardot/ sector Canaote – A Cessna 441 Conquest II (XB-KGS) performing an illegal flight with 999 kilos of cocaine crashed killing the 3 occupants.

 

02.04.2015

  • Australia/ NSW/ Nattai National Park, near Camden – A Jabiru J160-D (24-7852) crashed into a river and broke apart. Both occupants survived the crash with minor injuries.

  • Brazil/ SP/ Carapicuiba – An Eurocopter EC 155 B1 (PP-LLS) fell onto a residential building killing the 5 occupants. The helicopter had been performing a test flight after a reported main rotor blade change.

  • US/ AR/ Batesville/ near Batesville Regional Airport (KBVX) – A training Cessna 152 plane (N65463) crashed in bad weather killing the sole student pilot onboard.

  • Italy/ Teramo – An Agusta-Bell AB412 helicopter’s window 'exploded' at high altitude and fragments wounded the head of one of the crew members.

  • Romania/ Bacau/ Balaneasa – A Comco Ikarus C42B plane (YR-5153) crashed on landing. No injuries.

 

03.04.2015

  • US/ IN/ Boone County/ southwest of Lebanon – A training Yakovlev Yak-52TW (N555GD) crashed, while it was performing aerobatic maneuvers. The sole pilot onboard the airplane received fatal injuries.

  • US/ CA/ Petaluma/ near the Petaluma Municipal Airport (O69) – A Quicksilver Enterprises MXL II (N476VB) experienced an apparent in-flight breakup and subsequent impact with terrain. The sole student pilot onboard received fatal injuries.

  • US/ KS/ Wichita-Colonel James Jabara Airport – A Beechcraft 300 Super King Air 350ER was damaged when an overnight storm caused the collapse of its hangar.

  • New Zealand/ Blenheim/ Omaka Aerodrome – A Fokke Wulf FW 190 A8/N (ZK-RFR) suffered substantial damage following a ground loop.

  • New Zealand/ Otago Region/ Ocean Grove/ Tomahawk Beach – A Cessna 182P Skylane force landed and came to rest inverted. The two occupants onboard received minor injuries.

  • Germany/ Between Niste and Kleinalmerode – A Piper PA-28RT-201T Turbo Arrow IV (D-ERIF) crashed killing the pilot.

  • US/ ID/ Murphy/ near Murphy Airport (1U3) – A Just Aircraft Superstol aircraft (N682SC) made a force landing on a road and collapsed the gear. No injuries.

  • Brazil/ SP/ Braganca Paulista – An ultralight aircraft crashed on takeoff killing the pilot.

  • Yemen/ Aden International Airport (ADE) - A parked airplane was destroyed in a bombing raid at Aden International Airport by the Saudi Air Force. In a Houthi statement it was claimed to be the presidential plane that was destroyed.

  • US/ AL/ Wetumpka/ Wetumpka Municipal Airport (08A) – A Beech V35B Bonanza (N9172Q) clipped trees and impacted airport terrain while on approach. The sole pilot onboard received serious injuries.

  • US/ KS/ Wichita-Colonel James Jabara Airport – A Beechcraft King Air B300 (350) plane (N5019Q) substantial damage during a storm in which a hangar collapsed. The tail broke off.

  • US/ NY/  Brooklyn/ Floyd Bennett Field - A department helicopter crashed during a training exercise, causing more than $700,000 in damage.

 

04.04.2015

  • Malaysia/ Selangor/ Semenyih – Jamaluddin and Datuk Azlin Alias, the principal private secretary of the prime minister, and four other people were flying back from Pekan, Pahang, to Subang, Selangor, when the AS3655N2 Dauphin (9M-1GB) helicopter went down in a rubber smallholding in Semenyih. The four others have been identified as pilot Capt Clifford William Fournier; operations assistant Aidana Baizieva; Jamaluddin’s bodyguard Razakan Seran and businessman Datuk Tan Huat Seang. All 6 occupants died in the crash.

  • UK/ Argyll & Bute/ 30 miles E of Oban/ Glen Kinglass – A Piper PA-28-140 Cherokee (G-BHXK) crashed killing the 2 occupants.

  • US/ AZ/ Surprise – A Jabiru J250-SP plane (N593J) force landed to farm field terrain while on approach. The sole pilot onboard received minor injuries.

  • US/ CA/ Santa Maria/ near Santa Maria Public Airport/ Hancock Field (KSMX) - A Piper PA-28R-200 Arrow II (N5469T) force landed to farm field terrain. The two pilots received minor injuries.

  • US/ MI/ Mackinac Island/ Mackinac Island Airport (KMCD) – A Mooney M20K 231 (N706GP) experienced a gear-up landing. No injuries.

  • Brazil/ RN/ Ceara-Mirim – A Curtiss JN-4 Jenny replica (PU-JJA) crashed killing the 2 occupants.

  • Brazil/ SP/ Alvares Machado – An ASTRO AC-101 aircraft (PU-GUL) made a forced landing. No injuries.

  • US/ FL/ Altamonte Springs/ Lake Orienta – An experimental Searey amphibian aircraft (N692JM) crashed while landing on the waters of Lake Orienta. No injuries.

  • North Pole/ between Svalbard and Ice Camp Barneo - Gazpromavia Antonov An-74 (RA-74056) made a hard landing and it was damaged.

  • Spain/ Almeria region/ Fernan Perez/ near Nijar – A PZL W-3A helicopter (EC-KIR) performing an illegal flight crashed and was abandoned, without cargo or occupants.

  • Germany/ Rhine near Emmerich – A training Schleicher glider crash-landed into Rhine river. No injuries.

  • Russia/ Orenburgskaja Oblast/ Tulganskij Region/ Gorodki – A Robinson R-66 helicopter (RA-06382) crashed on takeoff. No injuries.

  • Brazil/ PR/ Campina Grande do Sul – A training Aero Boero AB-115 (PP-GAA) made an emergency landing. No injuries.

  • US/ NV/ Downtown Reno – A Schleicher ASW 27 (N27QV) experienced an in flight breakup in gusting wind conditions. The glider impacted a parking lot. The sole pilot onboard bailed out by parachute, receiving serious injuries.

  • US/ MO/ Drexel/ Hilltop Airport (MU62) – A Piper PA-22-135 Tri-Pacer (N3768A) nosed over during taxi. The sole pilot onboard the airplane received minor injuries.

  • US/ TN/ west of the Natchez Trace Parkway/ Tennessee River – A Hughes 369D helicopter (N555JC) crashed into the Tennessee River. The pilot died.

  • Sweden/ Paltatjakka area/ S Pirrtivuopio (ice) airfield – A Grob G103C Twin III SL glider (SE-UPT) suffered in flight breakup. The pilot bailed out but the passenger was found dead at the crash site.

  • Jordan/ 70 to 90 km north of Amman – Royal Jordanian Air Force Slingsby T67 Firefly plane crashed during a training flight. Both occupants (a Jordanian instructor and Iraqi student) died.

  • Germany/ Neuhausen ob Eck – A Cessna 172D crashed into trees near the runway. No injuries.

  • Japan/ Miyagi prefecture/ Sendai city/ Miyagino ward/ Okada – A military Kawasaki OH-6D helicopter suffered substantial damages on a forced landing on a open field after some in-flight trouble. No injuries.

  • US/ PA/ Allentown/ Allentown Queen City Municipal Airport (KXLL) – A Mooney M20J 201 plane (N4826H) force landed due to an engine failure. No injuries.

  • US/ TN/ Portland/ near Portland Municipal Airport (1M5) – A Cessna 182F Skylane (N3586Y) impacted terrain during a landing attempt. The sole pilot onboard received minor injuries.

  • US/ PA/ Allentown/ Lehigh Valley International Airport (KABE) – A Piper PA-28-140 Cherokee Cruiser (N8543E) experienced a collapse of the right main landing gear.

  • US/ IN/ Goshen/ Goshen Municipal Airport (KGSH) – A Piper PA-32RT-300 Lance II (N39551) experienced a nose gear collapse during takeoff. No injuries.

  • US/ IN/ Elkhart/ near Mishawaka Pilots Club Airport (3C1) – An experimental Buckeye Skyhawk powered parachute impacted trees and terrain. The sole pilot onboard received minor injuries.

  • US/ IL/ Bloomington/Normal/ ENE of Central Illinois Rgnl Airport (KBMI) – A Cessna 414A Chancellor (N789UP) crashed while on approach. Seven people, two of whom worked for the Illinois State University athletics department, were killed.

  • UK/ Northern Ireland/ County Down/ Newtownards/ Ards Airfield - A Comco-Ikarus C42 plane (G-CEDR) nose-dived shortly after take-off. The pilot died.

  • Bangladesh/ Shahjalal International Airport – A military Chengdu FT-7 jet collapsed the nose-wheel on landing.

  • France/ Savoie/ Les Allues/ near Meribel Altiport (LFKX) – An Aviat A-1 Husky (F-GMGG) impacted wooded terrain shortly after takeoff. The 2 occupants onboard received serious injuries.

  • Bolivia/ Trinidad Airport – A Cessna U206G Stationair 6 II (CP-1425) suffered a nose gear collapse on landing.

  • Peru/ Machu Picchu region - The pilot, an Israeli national, fell out of a glider and died.

  • Hungary/ near Urhida – A training TL Ultralight TL-2000 Sting S4 (OK-TUA 73) crashed in a field. The instructor died at the accident site, the pilot died in the hospital 2 days later due to his injuries.

  • Zambia/ Mazabuka/ Ekushiya Farm – An Eurocopter AS 350B3 Ecureuil helicopter (ZS-HTS) crashed and burst into flames. One body recovered.

  • US/ TX/ Lubbock/ Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport (KLBB) – A Cessna R182 Skyla RG plane (N6145S) experienced a gear-up landing. No injuries.

  • Brazil/ RJ/ Rio de Janeiro – An INPAER Conquest aircraft (PU-EVO) made an emergency landing into the waters due to an engine failure. No injuries.

  • South Africa/ Verulam – A Robinson R44 Raven II helicopter (ZS-HFO) failed and the pilot successfully executed an autorotation. One occupant was injured.

  • Nigeria/ Lagos (LOS) – A police Bell 412EP helicopter (5N-GEJ) suffered substantial damage in incident when taxiing after a training mission. The 4 occupants were injured.

  • Venezuela/ 10 NM from Metropolitano Airport (SVMP) – A Cessna 310R (YV2017) impacted terrain during a test flight and burned, killing both occupants.

  • US/ ID/ Challis/ near Upper Loon Creek USFS Airport (U72) – A Cessna T210M Turbo Centurion (N732YQ) impacted trees and mountainous terrain shortly after takeoff. The 4 occupants onboard received fatal injuries.

  • Brazil/ PI Assuncao do Piaui – A Cessna 210, performing an illegal flight with drugs, crashed on landing killing the 2 occupants.

  • Slovakia/ near Oslany – A Schleicher ASW 24 glider (OH-794) crashed into dense forest. The pilot received minor injuries.

  • US/ CA/ near Victorville – A Boeing 707 - 338C airplane (N624RH) experienced an uncontained release of turbine material from the No. 1 engine, a Pratt & Whitney JT3D, during the climb. The airplane landed safely. No injuries.

  • Netherlands/ North Holland/ Hilversum Airport (EHHV) – A Reims-Cessna F172N Skyhawk II (PH-SKB) made a runway excursion and collapsed the nose gear. No injuries.

  • Australia/ SA/ Marion Bay – An agricultural Robinson R44 helicopter (VH-LOL) struck a power line, resulting in substantial damage.

  • US/ AZ/ Prescott Valley/ near A.C. Goodwin Memorial Field Gliderport (AZ86) – A Schempp-Hirth Standard Cirrus glider (N352D) impacted high desert terrain shortly after winch-tow-launch. The sole pilot onboard was fatally injured.

  • Australia/ VIC/ Melbourne/ Moorabbin Airport (YMMB) – A Piper PA-28-161 plane (VH-TXH) collided with an Oxford Aviation Academy (Australia) Pty Ltd Cessna 172S (VH-EUU) on landing. Three of the five occupants onboard the two aircraft received minor injuries and two were not injured.

  • Australia/ QLD/ Pinnarendi station – A helicopter crash-landed. The pilot was injured.

  • Australia/ SA/ south of Jamestown/ Washpool/ RM Williams Way -  An Airborne Edge XT aircraft (32-5506) flew into power lines and crashed killing the pilot.

  • US/ VT/ Lake Champlain near Savage Island – A training Cessna 172N Skyhawk (N739VL) crashed on landing. No injuries.

  • US/ OH/ Cambridge/ Cambridge Municipal Airport (KCDI) – An Aeronca 7AC Champ (N85664) experienced a loss of directional control and subsequent runway excursion upon landing. No injuries.

  • US/ WI/ Chippewa Falls/ near Rosenbaum Field Airport (3WI9) – A Quad City Challenger II aircraft (N30796) impacted open field terrain. The sole pilot onboard received fatal injuries.

  • Venezuela/ Portuguesa/ Turen/ La Colonia Airstrip – An Aviat A-1 Husky plane (YV2376) impacted a stone wall. The pilot sustained fatal injuries. The passenger died due to her injuries one day later.

  • Germany/ near Oldenburg-Hatten (EDWH) – A Cessna F172N Skyhawk II (D-EOFK) impacted trees and terrain shortly after takeoff killing 1, injuring seriously 3 occupants.

  • Germany/ Oschatz Airfield (EDOQ) – A Scheibe L-Spatz 55 aircraft (D-8049) crashed on takeoff. The pilot (66) was severely injured and died later in hospital.

  • Austria/ Kufstein-Langkampfen Airfield (LOIK) – A TL Ultralight TL-3000 Sirius (D-MHMD) flipped over on landing. The female passenger suffered minor injuries.

  • US/ FL/ Fort Lauderdale/ near Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (KFXE) – A Piper PA-31T1 Cheyenne I (N119RL) impacted wooded terrain while on a declared emergency approach. The airplane was consumed by the post-impact fire and the 4 occupants onboard received fatal injuries.

  • US/ VA/ Brookneal/ Brookneal/Campbell County Airport (0V4) – A Cessna T337G Super Skymaster (N7CY) experienced a loss of directional control and subsequent runway excursion during an emergency landing. The pilot received minor injuries.

  • Australia/ NSW/ Dundee/ near Glen River B&B airstrip – A Trike crashed. Both occupants died.

  • Australia/ VIC/ Tooradin Airport – A Morgan Aircraft Works Cheetah plane (19-5362) rolled off the runway. The pilot was seriously injured.

  • Colombia/ La Cuchilla – A training Cessna 150M (HK-1912-G) crashed killing the pilot.

  • Colombia/ La Cuchilla – A Cessna 172S Skyhawk (HK-5064G) crashed killing the 2 occupants.

  • Canada/ BC/ Strait of Georgia/ Texada Island – A Cessna 172N Skyhawk (C-GZTJ) impacted timbered terrain. The sole pilot onboard sustained multiple compound fractures to one leg.

  • Australia/ WA/ Pantijan – A Cessna 404 plane (VH-JOR) collapsed the nose gear on landing. Two occupants received minor injuries.

  • US/ AK/ Ski strip north of Bettles – A Cessna 170B (N4697C) force landed to brush field terrain shortly after takeoff due to an engine failure. No injuries.

  • US/ NY/ Long Island/ Shelter Island/ Klenawicus Airfield – A Cessna 162 Skycatcher (N30283) impacted level timber and brush terrain shortly after takeoff. The sole pilot onboard received serious injuries.

  • Canada/ BC/ N of Vancouver - Carson Air Swearingen SA226-TC Metro II cargo plane (C-GSKC) crashed in the North Shore Mountains near Vancouver, Canada killing both crew members.

  • China/ Sichuan Ziyang Lezhi – An agricultural Bell 206 helicopter flew into power lines and crashed. The pilot did not survive the crash.

  • Austria/ Wiener Neustadt Ost Airfield (LOAN) – A Cessna F150M (OE-CML) was blown over by the wind at the airport and sustained substantial damages.

  • US/ CA/ San Carlos/ San Carlos Airport (KSQL) – A Beech A35 Bonanza (N8630A) experienced a nose-gear collapse upon landing. No injuries.

  • India/ Khajuraho Airport (HJR/VAKJ) – JetKonnect Boeing 737-85R (VT-JGA) was involved in a landing accident. The aircraft tilted to the left with the engine pod contacting the runway. No injuries.

  • US/ CA/ Tejon Ranch NE of Lebec – A Pitts S2E Special plane (N75BH) crashed killing the pilot.

 

14.04.2015

  • Japan/ Hiroshima International Airport (HIJ) - Asiana Airlines Airbus A320-232 (HL7762), performing flight OZ162 from Seoul-Incheon International Airport (ICN/RKSI), suffered substantial damage to the left wing, the No.1 engine and the underside of the tail section in a landing accident. On final approach the aircraft impacted the ILS-LOC antenna array, which is located 325 m before the runway 28 threshold. After touching down on the runway, the aircraft veered to the left and departed the paved surface of the runway. It ran onto a field and came to rest facing east. 27 persons onboard suffered minor injuries.

  • US/ HI/ Kailua/Kona/ Kona International Airport at Keahole (PHKO) – A Cessna 172M Skyhawk (N12842) impacted airport terrain shortly after takeoff. The 3 occupants onboard received serious injuries.

  • Canada/ Sault Ste Marie/ Sault Ste Marie Int'l Airport (CYAM) – A Piper PA-18 Super Cub experienced a loss of directional control and subsequent runway excursion upon landing. No injuries.

  • US/ AK/ near Culross Island in Prince William Sound – A Cessna 180 Skywagon (N9247C) crashed due to an engine failure. The sole pilot onboard was fatally injured.

 

15.04.2015

  • Germany/ Moosburg auf der Kippe – A Bolkow Bo 207 plane (D-EFTI) struck trees on takeoff and crashed killing the pilot.

  • UK/ Surrey/ Bletchingley/ Tandridge – A BRM Aero Bristell NG5 Speed Wing (G-GARD) made a forced landing in a field. No injuries.

  • US/ NY/ Lancaster/ Buffalo-Lancaster Regional Airport (KBQR) – A Piper PA-28-140 Cherokee (N7598R) experienced a loss of engine power shortly after takeoff. The nose gear of the airplane collapsed during the subsequent force landing. The pilot onboard received minor injuries.

  • Germany/ Straubing-Wallmuhle (EDMS) – A Piper PA-34-220T Seneca III (D-GFKH) collapsed the nose gear on landing.

  • Peru/ Apurimac River Valley/ in the province of Satipo/ Rio Tambo – A Cessna plane (CP-2614) crashed in the jungle. The 2 crew members were taken to a public hospital in the nearby city of Satipo for treatment.

  • US/ FL/ Zephyrhills/ Zephyrhills Municipal Airport (KZPH) – A Beach 95-55 Baron (N333JQ) experienced a gear-up landing. No injuries.

  • US/ IL/ Dunlap/ off airport – A Robinson R44 Raven II helicopter (N754R) experienced a rollover during a precautionary landing to farm field terrain. No injuries.

 

16.04.2015

  • Vietnam/ South China Sea/ S. Vietnam/ Binh Thuan province – Two Vietnam Air Force Sukhoi Su-22M4 jets collided six nautical miles from Phu Quy Island. Both pilots died.

  • US/ CO/ near Rifle-Garfield County Airport (RIL) - Key Lime Air Swearingen SA227-AC Metro III cargo plane (N2691W) was substantially damaged after an engine failure during climb at Rifle, Colorado. A post accident examination of the airplane revealed the second stage turbine rotor from the right engine had separated.

  • Pakistan/ Sonmiani – A PAF Dassault Mirage fighter jet crashed. The pilot ejected safely.

  • Indonesia/ Halim Perdana Kusuma Air Force Base – A F-16C Block 25F Fighting Falcon fighter jet (TS-1643) aborted takeoff. A fire erupted but the pilot ejected and survived.

  • US/ AL/ Gulf Shores/ Jack Edwards Airport (KJKA) – A P & M PulsR trike (N415PM) impacted airport terrain on landing. The 2 occupants onboard received minor injuries.

  • US/ NH/ near Whitefield – A powered parachute struck trees. The pilot received minor injuries.

 

17.04.2015

  • US/ TX/ Lufkin/ Angelina County/ near Angelina County Airport (KLFK) – A Cessna 421B Golden Eagle (N421PK) developed a total loss of power. The pilot landed the plane besides a highway. The 3 occupants were taken to hospital, the pilot with serious injuries and the two passengers with minor injuries.

  • US/ CA/ Golf Course ENE La Quinta – A Piper PA-18-150 Super Cub (N162SC) force landed to a golf course. The sole pilot onboard received minor injuries.

 

18.04.2015

  • Australia/ QLD/ 6km NW of Woolooga – A Jabiru J250 plane (19-7621) crashed killing the pilot.

  • US/ MS/ near Mize/ Smith County – A Cessna 140 (N76452) experienced a precautionary landing to a roadway. The aircraft came to rest inverted in an adjacent field. The sole pilot onboard received minor injuries.

  • US/ WA/ Puyallup/ near Pierce County Airport/Thun Field (KPLU) – A Beech F33A Bonanza (N84MD) experienced a loss of engine power and force landed to grass field terrain, collapsing the nose gear.

  • US/ CA/ Shasta County/ near Millville - A Cessna 206H Stationair (N3535M) was destroyed by impact with open field terrain. The sole pilot received fatal injuries.

  • US/ IA/ Independence/ Independence Municipal Airport (KIIB) – A Cessna 195 (N1558D) experienced a loss of directional control and subsequent runway excursion upon landing. No injuries.

  • US/ TN/ Winchester/ near Winchester Municipal Airport (KBGF) – A Mooney M20C Ranger (N9680M) crashed. The 5 occupants onboard received minor injuries.

  • Germany/ Essen/ Cloppenburg – A Comco Ikarus C42B plane (D-MCWT) flipped over during a forced landing in field following a loss of engine power. Both occupants sustained minor injuries.

  • US/ FL/ Titusville/ Space Coast Regional Airport (KTIX) – A Cessna 400 Corvalis (LC41-550FG) plane (N400BZ) caught fire and made an emergency landing. No injuries.

  • Philippines/ Sta. Fe airport on Bantyan Island – A Cessna 182 Skylane (RP-C3025) sustained a nose gear collapse upon landing.

  • US/ OK/ Burneyville/ Falconhead Airport (37K) – A Pitts Model 12 (N12DR) landed short of the runway due to an engine failure. The pilot received minor injuries.

  • Germany/ Schrecksbach – A Glaser-Dirks DG-1000T glider (D-KLUM) performed a hard landing in a field. The passenger (73) suffered back-injuries.

  • US/ RJ/ Newport/ Newport State Airport (KUUU) – A Flight Design CTSW plane (N684CT) experienced a loss of directional control and subsequent runway excursion upon landing. No injuries.

  • US/ OK/ Garvin County/ east of Maysville – A Grumman G164A plane (N7951) force landed to a field. The sole pilot onboard received minor injuries.

 

19.04.2015

  • Czech Republic/ Naer Jablonna, Pribram region - Two gliders collided during soaring competition, one landed safely (Schleicher ASW-15B, reg. OK-3758), another (Schleicher ASW 19B, reg. OK-0019), crashed in a wooded area. The pilot jumped out successfully and survived with minor knee injury.

  • US/ FL/ Lakeland – A Mooney M20TN Acclaim (N608MR) crashed while attempting to land. The plane burst into flames. The pilot suffered minor injures.

  • Dominican Republic/ near Punta Cana resort – A Piper PA-32 (HI-957) crashed shortly after takeoff. All 7 occupants, a pilot and six passengers, died in the crash.

  • South Africa/ WC/ Citrusdal – An agricultural Magni M16 aircraft crashed killing the pilot.

  • US/ OR/ Mt Tom in Linn County/ east of Harrisburg - A Piper PA-28-140 Cherokee (N1729J) was destroyed by impact and consumed by the post-impact fire. The sole unlicensed pilot onboard the aircraft was fatally injured.

  • Brazil/ GO/ Quirinopolis – An INPAER Conquest 160 ultra light aircraft (PU-JBI) made a emergency landing due to an engine failure. The two occupants suffered minor injuries.

  • Panama/ Arraijan District/ Veracruz/ Cerro Cabra – A Piper PA-44-180 Seminole training plane (HP-1898BL) crashed into a hill under unknown circumstances. Both occupants died in the crash.

  • Indonesia/ Semarang/ Ahmad Yani Army Airbase - Indonesian Army Bell 205A-1 helicopter (HA-5066) made a hard landing. Two crew members were taken to hospital with injuries.

  • Canada/ BC/ NE of Delta/ southeast Surrey – A Buccaneer II amphibious seaplane (C-IJFV) force landed to a major roadway. The sole pilot onboard received minor injuries.

  • US/ GA/ Hartwell/ Airnautique/ Inc Airport (0GA2) – A Piper PA-16 Clipper (N5616H) experienced a loss of directional control on takeoff and impacted shrubbery adjacent to the runway. No injuries.

  • US/ GA/ LaGrange/ near LaGrange-Callaway Airport (KLGC) – A Pitts Model 12 biplane (N488WT) impacted open field terrain while on approach. The pilot was injured.

  • South Africa/ Western Cape/ near Wellington/ Bainskloof – A Bell UH-1H (Huey) helicopter (ZU-UHI) crashed during an emergency landing while trying to extinguish a bush fire. There was a post crash fire. The two occupants died.

  • Thailand/ Wat Paramaiyikawas/ Koh Kret/ Nonthaburi - A Robinson R44 Raven II sightseeing helicopter (HS-PLL) rolled over during a landing. The 3 occupants onboard received minor injuries.

  • UK/ Attleborough/ Old Buckenham Airfield (EGSV) – A Zivko Edge 360 aerobatic plane (G-EDGJ) crashed during the Old Buckenham media preview air show. The pilot died.

  • US/ AZ/ Phoenix/ Phoenix Deer Valley Airport (KDVT) – A North American Navion (NA-145) plane (N947SH) experienced a gear-up landing. No injuries.

  • US/ UT/ Draper/ near Point of the Mountain – A paraglider impacted mountainous terrain. The pilot received minor injuries.

  • Russia/ Kamchatskij kraj/ Bystrinskij rajon/ Esso – A Mi-8 helicopter (RA-22919) made a hard landing. All 6 occupants on board sustained injuries.

  • Australia/ SA/ North Shields/ Port Lincoln Airport (YPLC) – A Zenith plane experienced a nose gear collapse upon landing. No injuries.

  • Zimbabwe/ Gweru/ near Thornhill airbase – A Nanchang K-8 Karakorum jet, belonged to Air Force of Zimbabwe (AFZ), crashed, due to a technical malfunction. Both pilots ejected safely.

  • Spain/ Casarrubios del Monte aerodrome – A training Air Creation Kiss 450 GTE aircraft (EC-LGM) crashed injuring the 2 occupants.

  • US/ FL/ Lakeland/ Lakeland Linder Regional Airport (KLAL) – A Glasair II RG plane (N26EX) experienced a nose gear collapse upon landing.

  • Cameroon/ Douala Airport - Cameroon Air Force Harbin Z-9 helicopter crashed on landing injuring the 4 occupants onboard.

  • Switzerland/ Bern/ Kandergrund – A Denney Kitfox IV-1200 plane (HB-YFS) made an emergency landing due to an engine failure and came to rest inverted. No injuries.

  • Syria/ in northern Al-Suwaydaa city/ near Khalkhal airbase, in northern Al-Suwaydaa city - Syrian Air Force MiG-21 fighter jet crashed. The pilot died.

  • Mexico/ State of Mexico/ Zumpango/ Santa Lucia Air Force Base Num 1 (MMSM) - Two Mexican air force planes collided Saturday during an air show at Mexico's Aerospace Fair 2015 in the central state of Mexico, causing one of the planes, Beechcraft T-6C+ Texan II (reg. 6602) to crash but without anyone being hurt.

  • Venezuela/ Maracaibo-La Chinita International Airport (MAR) – A Beechcraft 200 Super King Air (YV2803) sustained substantial damage in a landing accident. The accident caused the separation of the tail section.

  • Turkey/ Istanbul-Ataturk International Airport (IST) - THY Turkish Airlines Airbus A320-232 plane (TC-JPE) sustained substantial damage in a landing accident. The aircraft operated flight TK1878 from Milano-Malpensa Airport (MXP), Italy. On approach to runway 05 at Ataturk Airport the landing was discontinued. Flames were observed coming from (near) the nr.2 engine. During the second attempt for landing the right hand main gear collapsed, causing the nr. 2 engine to drag along the runway.

  • India/ Sriganganagar district/ Suratgarh city - Indian Air Force (IAF) Mi-35 combat helicopter crashed during a routine exercise. The three crew members successfully bailed out.

  • Brazil/ PA/ Ourilandia do Norte – A Cessna 210L Centurion (PR-LIT) impacted power lines during the subsequent emergency landing to a roadway. No injuries.

  • Ukraine/ Kyiv Oblast/ Obukhiv Raion – An Aeros Sky Ranger plane crashed injuring a man and a woman onboard.

  • Yemen/ Aden International Airport (ADE) - Saudi fighter jets bombed and destroyed a passenger plane.

  • Saudi Arabia - Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) Cirrus SR22 training plane crashed killing the 2 occupants.

  • New Zealand/ Auckland/ Waitakere/ Whenuapai Airport (NZWP) – A Piper PA-31 Navajo (ZK-NSN) made a belly landing. No injuries.

  • Japan/ Kagoshima Airport (KOJ/RJFK) – A Cessna 172RG Cutlass (JA3857) made a belly landing on the runway. No injuries. The pilot of the plane told that he forgot to extent the landing gear.

  • Japan/ Yamanashi prefecture/ Nirasaki city/ Nirasaki Gliding Field – A training Scheibe SF34b Delphin glider (JA2446) crash-landed. The 2 occupants suffered minor injuries.

  • US/ TX/ Austin/ Barton Creek – A rescuer fell to her death from a medical helicopter, Eurocopter EC 145 (N392TC), while trying to save a woman in Texas.

  • US/ AL/ Sylacauga/ Merkel Field Sylacauga Municipal Airport (KSCD) – A Diamond DA20-C1 Eclipse (N248ME) force landed to a commercial parking lot shortly after takeoff. No injuries.

  • Switzerland/ Bern/ Zweisimmen – A Comco Ikarus C42B (HB-WAS) made an emergency landing in a river, due to an engine failure. Both occupants were injured.

  • US/ KS/ Gardner/ near Gardner Municipal Airport (K34) – A Rutan Long-EZ plane (N12NC) experienced a nose-gear collapse during a force landing. No injuries.

  • Pacific Ocean/ Japan/ 40 km (25 mls) NE off Ashizuri Cape - Japan Maritime Self Defence Force (JMSDF) ShinMaywa US-2 plane (9905) crashed in the Pacific Ocean. Four crew members were injured.

  • Yemen/ San'a International Airport (SAH) – Felix Airways Canadair CL-600-2C10 Regional Jet CRJ-702ER plane (7O-FAA) was destroyed during the Saudi Arabia-led coalition attack.

  • US/ WA/ South of Grand Mounds – A Cessna 170B (N1296D) force landed to open, long grass terrain. The sole pilot onboard received serious injuries.

  • Egypt/ west Arish area/ Mazar - Egypt Armed Forces drone crashed as a result of a technical failure. No injuries.

  • Yemen/ al-Duleimi military base - Yemen Air Force Mi-17 had been destroyed as a result of a bombing raid carried out by the Saudi Air Force.

  • Yemen/ al-Duleimi military base - Two Su-22 and one F-5 belonged to Yemen Air Force had been destroyed as a result of a bombing raid carried out by the Saudi Air Force.

  • Canada/ SK/ near Preeceville – An ultra light plane crashed injuring the pilot.
