Вертолет
Ми-172 с регистрационен номер VT-PHF на авиокомпанията Pawan Hans Helicopters Ltd. (PHHL) изпълнявал полет от Гувахати на щата Асам за град Таванг в щата Аруначал Прадеш.
При подхода за кацане в Таванг вертолетът попаднал на  неблатоприятно въздушно течение и се  разбил при силен порив на вятъра.
Според съобщение на щатската полиция от 23-та на борда,
загинали са 18, а 5-та оцелели са с тежки наранявания и изгаряния. Вертолетът бил произведен през 1996 г и със сертификат за летателна годност до 28 август тази година.

Жертвами крушения вертолета во вторник на востоке Индии стали 18 человек, 5 получили ранения, сообщает  полиция штата..
При заходе на посадку в городе Таванг индийского штата Аруначал-Прадеш разбился вертолет
Ми-172 (VT-PHF), на борту которого находились 23 человека - 18 пассажиров и пять членов экипажа. Вертолет совершал регулярный рейс из административного центра штата Ассам города Гаухати.
В настоящее время на месте крушения проводится поисково-спасательная операция.
Вертолет принадлежал авиакомпании

ДР Конго/ Киншаса – летище Н’Джили

Самолет с мисия на ООН се разби при приземяването си на летище в столицата на Конго Киншаса. Самолетът
CRJ-100ER с регистрационен номер 4L-GAE и собственост на грузинската авиокомпания Airzena - Georgian Airways изпълнявал полет UNO834 по маршрута Киншаса – летище Н’Джили, Кисангани, Ентебе (Уганда) и обратно. При завръщането си в Киншаса в района на летището валял проливен дъжд съпроводен от силен вятър. При приземяването самолетът се разбил и бил обхванат от пламъци. От 33-та души на борда (29 пътници и 4 –ма екипаж) оцелял само един пътник - журналист. Намерени са бордовите самописци (черните кутии). Причините за катастрофата се изясняват.

из 33 человек, находившихся на борту самолета миссии ООН, потерпевшего катастрофу в Демократической Республике Конго (ДРК).
Самолет
CRJ-100ER (4L-GAE) принадлежащий грузинской авиакомпании Аirzena - Georgian Airways, разбился в понедельник при заходе на посадку.
Катастрофа произошла примерно в 14.00 по местному времени (17.00 мск).
В момент происшествия в Киншасе шел сильный дождь.
Для расследования авиакатастрофы создана следственная группа.

CRJ-100ER passenger plane (4L-GAE) was destroyed in an accident at Kinshasa-N'Djili Airport (FIH). One occupant survived the accident, 32 were killed. The airplane operated on behalf of the United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO) on flight UNO834 from Kinshasa-N'Djili Airport (FIH) to Kisangani (FKI) and Entebbe (EBB), Uganda and return. The airplane was operating on the final leg of the flight when it crashed in rainy weather.
The aircraft belonged to the Georgian
Airzena air company.
The UN peacekeeping mission in the DRC (MONUSCO) lost 14 staff members, while staff working for the UN Development Programme (UNDP), the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), the UN World Food Programme (WFP), the UN Office for Project Services (UNOPS) also lost their lives.
The death toll also includes non-UN staff, including employees of the DRC Government, the Congolese electoral commission, the International Criminal Court (ICC), the International Rescue Committee (IRC) and contractor Pacific Architects and Engineers (PAE).
