• US/ MA/ Bedford-Hanscom Field (BED) – A Gulfstream G-IV corporate jet (N121JM) crashed on takeoff and burst into flames killing all 3 crew members and 4  passengers.

• US/ WI/ Stevens Point Municipal Airport (KSTE) – An Yakovlev Yak-55M (N176FD) crashed during the Stevens Point air show. The pilot died.

• UK/ West Yorkshire/ near Keighley/ near Keighley/ Oxenhope – A Jodel D.117 plane (G-AWFW) flipped over on landing. Both occupants were injured.

• US/ MA/ Fitchburg / Fitchburg Municipal Airport (KFIT) – A Siai-Marchetti F.260 plane (N7895) made a belly landing. No injuries.

• US/ OH/ Middletown/ Middletown Regional Airport (KMWO) - A local skydiving company employee inadvertently came in contact with the operating propeller of the aircraft, a de Havilland DHC-6-200 twin Otter, while the twin-engine aircraft was in the process of boarding at the airport. The employee received serious injuries and later died from her injuries on Tuesday 3 June 2014.

• US/ WV/ Ravenswood/ Jackson County Airport (I18) – A Harmening High Flyer Powered Parachute crashed at the airport injuring seriously the pilot.

• US/ AK/ WSW of Galena – A Cessna 182K Skylane (N2631R) force landed to swamp terrain. Two of the four occupants onboard received minor injuries.

• US/ CA/ Watsonville/ Watsonville Municipal Airport (KWVI) – A Mooney M20E Chapparal (N3236F) made a belly landing. No injuries.

• US/ CO/ Longmont/ near Vance Brand Municipal Airport (KLMO) – A Diamond DA 20-C1 Katana (N206ND) experienced a loss of engine power and force landed to a field. No injuries.

• Poland/ Near Pila Airport (EPPI) – A PZL-Bielsko SZD-41A Jantar Standard glider (SP-3821) collided mid-air with PZL-Bielsko SZD-48-3 Jantar Standard 3 glider (SP-3674). The first glider crashed on a street and its pilot parachuted safely. The second glider crashed into a local electric station and its pilot died.

• US/ MT/ Yellowstone National Park/ S of Gardiner Airport (29S) – An agricultural Aero Commander A-9B plane (N7292V) crashed injuring the pilot.

• Colombia/ near Bahía Solano-Jose Celestino Mutis Airport (BSC) – A military Beechcraft B200 Super King Air  (PNC-0225) made a forced landing in a field injuring the 3 occupants.

• Guyana/ Parmakatoi/ Region Eight airstrip – A cargo Cessna 206 plane (8R-SUP) veered off the runway on landing, due to a herd of cows running accross the airstrip.

• US/ OH/ Port Columbus International Airport – An Embraer EMB-145LR (N273SK) was damaged on takeoff, when its tread separated from the right hand main tire, causing damage to the wing flaps and fuselage.

• UK/ Essex/ Southend/ London Southend Airport (EGMC) – A Cessna FA152 Aerobat (G-BGAF) experienced a hard landing and subsequent runway excursion. The sole pilot onboard received minor injuries.

• New Zealand/ Motueka/ near Motueka Airport – A Foxcon Aviation Terrier 200 lost power and crash-landed in a kiwifruit orchard.

• Russia/ Priamurski/ Jewish Autonomous Oblast/ Novokamenka – An Aeroprakt A-22 Foxbatlight plane (RA-0080A) crashed killing the 2 occupants.

• Russia/ Moskva-Sheremetyevo Airport (SVO) – A parked Ilyushin 96-300 plane (RA-96010) was destroyed by a fire and burnt out completely. No injuries.

• Ukraine/ Slavyansk – An Ukrainian Mi-24VP helicopter was damaged in a combat mission in east Ukraine against separatists.

• Pakistan/ Baldia Ittehad Town – PAF Dassault Mirage 5DD fighter jet (04-003) crashed into a bus terminal killing the 2 pilots and 2 people on the ground.

• US/ TX/ N of Port Mansfield/ S of Corpus Christi/ Padre Island National Seashore – A Cessna 172N Skyhawk (N734BY) force landed to the tidal sands of the Padre Island National Seashore between Baffin Bay and Port Mansfield, Texas, coming to rest inverted. The pilot was injured.

• US/ NV/ Dayton/ W of Dayton Valley Airpark (A34) – A Bede BD-4 plane (N11DV) crashed on approach killing the pilot.

• US/ LA/ Monroe/ near Monroe Regional Airport (KMLU) – A Beechcraft H35 Bonanza (N653T) crashed during a test flight injuring seriously the pilot.

• US/ CA/ Merced/ NNW of Merced Regional Airport/ Macready Field (KMCE) – A Rotorway 162F small helicopter (N78291) crashed in a field and caught fire. No injuries.

• US/ IN/ Peru/ Peru Municipal Airport (I76) – A Mooney M20K 231 (N3983H) made a belly landing as the pilot by mistake thought the landing gear was deployed.
  Turkey/ Merzifon AB - Turkish Air Force F-16 jet veered off the runway upon landing. The pilot was injured.

• Mexico/ near Veracruz/ Actopan/ La Mancha lake – A Robinson R44 Raven II (XB-IYO) force landed into a lake.

• US/ WA/ Pierce County/ WNW of Buckley – A North American AT-6C Texan plane (N13372) impacted wooded terrain and came to rest inverted. Both occupants died.

• US/ CA/ Imperial - U S Marine Corps McDonnell Douglas AV-8V Harrier II jet impacted residential terrain. The pilot ejected safely.

• US/ Pacific Ocean off the Southern California coast – US Navy F/A-18E Super Hornet fighter jet crashed on a night training exercise, while the pilot was trying to land on the USS Carl Vinson. No injuries.

• Ukraine/ near Slavyansk - Ukrainian Armed Forces Mi-24VP combat helicopter shot by Donetsk People Republic fighters.

• Ukraine/ near Slavyansk - Ukrainian Armed Forces Mi-24VP combat helicopter (91 YELLOW) shot by Donetsk People Republic fighters.

• India/ Arabian Sea off the coast of Goa – Indian Navy MiG-29KUB fighter jet made a hard landing on the aircraft carrier.

• Russia/ Mordovija/ Torbeevskij rajon/ Salazgor – An agricultural UP-1 delta plane (RA-1382G) made an emergency landing in a field, damaged.

• Italy/ Roma-Ciampino Airport (CIA) - Ryanair Boeing 737-8AS (WL) plane (EI-DLI) rolled back about 40 m and collided with an airport fire station damaging its right hand horizontal stabilizer.

• US/ TX/ NW Fort Worth/ East of Flying Oaks Airport (2TE2) – A Stolp Starduster TOO SA300 biplane (N8DT) crashed injuring the 2 occupants, one of them seriously.

• US/ IA/ Lamoni/ Lamoni Municipal Airport (KLWD) – An experimental Avid Flyer aircraft (N111ED) crashed on approach injuring seriously the 2 occupants.

• Switzerland/ Grenchen Airfield (LSZG) – A Piper PA-38-112 Tomahawk (HB-PGU) crash-landed in a field close to the runway shortly after takeoff. No injuries.

• US/ CA/ W of Laytonville/ Eel River – A Cessna 172M Skyhawk plane (N1186U) crashed on approach killing the pilot.

• Ukraine/ Slavyansk - Ukrainian Armed Forces Mi-8 helicopter was damaged by bullet fire and performed an emergency landing.

• US/ NY/ Saratoga Springs/ Saratoga County Airport (5B2) – An Evolution Trikes Revo was performing an engine run up, but experienced a loss of static control and entered a hangar, damaging a Cessna 337 Skymaster,  a Cessna 182 and the mechanic involved in the accident received serious injuries.

• Switzerland/ Locarno magadino – A Piper PA-34-220T Seneca V (HB-LTH) experienced an aborted takeoff in a field, damaged.

• US/ IA/ Winterset/ WSW of Winterset Municipal Airport (3Y3) – A Kitfox clipped power lines and crashed injuring seriously the pilot.

• France/ Tournon – A training ultralight aircraft crashed on takeoff. Both, the instructor and the student were seriously injured and burned. Later they died.

• US/ AR/ Jonesboro/ Jonesboro Regional Airport (KJBR) – A parked Cessna 150M (N714PQ) was blew by winds 30 feet into the air before coming down and landing on its top.

• US/ AK/ Fairbanks/ Totatlanika River Airport – A Cessna 170B plane (N3442D) crashed. No injuries.

• US/ FL/ Pace/ Naval Air Station Whiting Field – A NAVY training Bell TH-57 Sea Ranger (206) helicopter crash-landed in a field. Both occupants received minor injuries.

• China/ Zhejiang Province/ Yiwu – Chinese navy Xian JH-7 plane crashed during a training mission.

• Canada/ ON/ Peterborough/ Peterborough Airport (CGYQ) – A Van's RV-9A (C-GYOO) crash-landed short of the runway due to an engine failure. The pilot received minor injuries.

• US/ FL/ Daytona Beach/ Daytona Beach Int'l Airport (KDAB) – A training Cessna 172S Skyhawk plane (N5524L) crashed shortly after takeoff and caught fire killing the 2 occupants onboard.

• US/ FL/ Merritt Island/ N of Merritt Island Airport (KCOI) – A Liberty XL-2 (N516XL) struck power lines and crashed killing the 2 occupants.

• US/ CA/ NW of Adelanto/ NW end El Mirage Dry Lake – An American Aviation AA-1A Trainer (N9454L) crashed killing the pilot. The 8 year-old boy onboard the airplane received serious injuries.
  He died from his injuries on Friday 13 June 2014.

• Germany/ Klippeneck Airfield – A Schleicher ASW 20 glider crash-landed. No injuries.

• Germany/ Coburg-Brandensteinsebene Airfield (EDQC) – A glider made a hard landing. The 17 year old female glider student suffered moderate injuries.

• Niger/ Niamey – A Dassault Mirage 2000D fighter jet crashed. The two pilots ejected safely.

• US/ CA/ Visalia/ Visalia Municipal Airport (KVIS) – A Piper PA-34-200 Seneca I (N15352) collapsed the front landing gear on landing.

• Canada/ ON/ Huronia – Midland/ Huronia Regional Airport (CYEE) – A Quad City Challenger II light plane (C-IMOE) crashed on landing killing the pilot.

• France/ Saint-Paul-sur-Ubaye – A Cessna 172N Skyhawk (F-GJSQ) crashed killing a passenger.

• Italy/ Lombardy/ Lecco district/ Valvarrone – A Cessna 172N Skyhawk (I-SIPI) impacted a mountain side and crashed in a wooded area killing the 3 occupants onboard.

• US/ MA/ Bedford/ NE of Laurence G Hanscom Field Airport (KBED) – A Cirrus SR22 (N813JE) experienced a loss of engine power and deployed the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS). The plane came to rest upright in wooded terrain in Burlington. The two occupants onboard received minor injuries.

• US/ MS/ Tupelo/ Tupelo Regional Airport (KTUP) – A Beech 58 Baron (N93HS) experienced a gear-up landing. No injuries.

• US/ SC/ Marion/ Marion County Airport (KMAO) – A 2/3 P-51B/C Mustang (N51BM) crashed shortly after takeoff killing the pilot.

• Brazil /GO/ Aruana Airport – A Cessna 525 CitationJet CJ1 (PP-PIM) sustained substantial damage in a runway excursion accident on landing. The 7 persons on board sustained minor injuries.

• US/ NY/ New York-La Guardia Airport (LGA/KLGA) – Parked Delta Airlines McDonnell Douglas MD-90-30 (N938DN) caught fire injuring a ramp worker.

• Czech Republic/ Lubno/ near Frydlant and Ostravici airfield - A Qualt 200MT plane (OK-FUL-07) made an emergency landing in a field after an engine failure. No injuries.

• Belgium/ Cerfontaine Airport (EBCF) – A training Hughes 269C helicopter (OO-JCS) crashed killing 1, injuring 1 occupant onboard.

• South Africa/ Stellenbosch Airfield – An AutoGyro Calidus crashed on takeoff injuring the pilot.

• Germany/ Oppingen Airfield – A DG-Flugzeugbau DG-1000M glider (D-KJDG) crashed killing the 2 occupants.

Ukraine/ Lugansk/ Novohannivka - Nine crew and 40 troops were aboard the Il-76 (76777) when it went down early Saturday as it approached the airport at the city of Lugansk, Ukraine. The plane had been hit by a shoulder-fired "Igla" missile. The aircraft carried troops from the 25th airborne brigade and a BMD-2 airborne infantry fighting vehicle. All 49 occupants onboard died. The plane's tail section lay with other pieces of scorched wreckage in a farm field near the village of Novohannivka, about 20 kilometers (12 miles) south of Lugansk.

Украина/ Луганск - На борту сбитого под Луганском Ил-76 (76777) находились 40 десантников из 25 отдельной Днепропетровской воздушно-десантной бригады

и 9 членов экипажа из Мелитопольской авиационной транспортной бригады. Все они погибли. Трагедия произошла около 00:50 часа ночи в субботу. На позиции сепаратистов близ Луганского аэропорта, с которой предположительно был поражен Ил-76 сил АТО, найдено три пусковые трубы 9П39-1 от ПЗРК 9К38 "Игла". Два ПЗРК "Игла" использованы, один – технически неисправен. В Луганской области 14 июня объявлен траур по погибшим военным.

Украйна/ Луганск - 49 души загинаха при в свалене военен самолет в Украйна. Проруски сепаратисти са обстрелвали транспортен Ил-76, с регистрационен номер 76777, превозващ 40 десатчици и 9-членен екипаж. Самолетът трябвало да кацне на летището в Луганск. Според украински източници, самолетът е свален с ПЗРК „Игла”. Охранителна камера е заснела изстрелването на ракета от земята. Малко след това се вижда голяма експлозия. Това е най-тежкият инцидент с украински военнослужащи, от началото на сблъсъците в Източна Украйна.
