| 17.09.2006/between 8 am and 9 am GMT Nigeria/Benue State/Ushongo village A Dornier-228-221 military plane crashed in Central Nigeria with 18 senior military personnel on board. There were 14 fatalities among them including 8 Generals, 2 Lieutenant Colonels and four other officers. The only four survivers were said to be in very critical conditions. Aircraft might have ran into bad weather. |

На борда е имало 18 военнослужащи-повечето старши и висши офицери, които е трябвало да участват в редица срещи в хотелския и конференционен център Обуду. Загинали са 14 военнослужащи, от които 8 генерали. Четирима са уцелели, но се намират в крайно тежко състояние. Вероятна причина за катастрофата-лошо време. |

| 29.09.2006/20:50 по Гринуич Бразилия/ щат Мато Гроссо/ Сао Феликс до Шингу (индиански резерват) Наскоро закупеният като нов Воинг-737-800 (рег. № PR-GTD) на бразилския авиооператор Гол, изпълняващ полет 1907 от Манаус към столицата Бразилия и оттам за Рио де Жанейро, катастрофира в щата Мато Гроссо отнемайки живота на 155 души-пътници и екипаж намиращи се на борда. Катстрофата е възникнала в резултат на сблъсък във въздуха с друг пътнически (16 местен) VIP самолет от типа Ембраер Легаси-600 (рег. № N600XL), който въпреки повреденото си крило е успял успешно да кацне на близкото военно летище. |

Накануне самолет выполнял рейс 1907 по маршруту Манаус-Бразилия- Рио-де-Жанейро. В воздухе он столкнулся с самолетам меньшего размера VIP-класса Легаси, летевшем в противоположном направлении, который сумел совершить экстренную посадку на ближайшей военной базе. Все находившихся на борту Боинга 155 человек-погибли. |

| 29.09.2006/20:50 GMT Brazil/Mato Grosso/19 mls N of Peixoto de Azevedo The brand new Boeing 737-800 operated by Brazilian low-cost carrier Gol (flight 1907 from Manaus- Brazilia- Rio de Janeiro) disappeared Friday afternoon after what could have been a mid-air colision with a smaller plane - Brazil's Embraer Legacy-600 headed to the USA.The Emb Legacy-600 with 7 occupants made an emergency landing at the Cachimbo Air force base without any injuries. Flight 1907 was carrying 149 passengers and 6 crew members. All of them -155 died. Boeing had been received new on Sept. 12- and has only 200 flight hours. |
