| Авиокатастрофа в Судан отне живота на 32-ма 19.08.2012/ 04:45 GMT Судан/ щтат Южен Кордофан/ Талоди Пътнически самолет Ан-26 (ST-ARL) на авиокомпанията Алфа Еърлайнс се разби при втори заход за кацане в хълмистия район край Талоди, южната част на Судан. На борда е имало 26 пътници – държавна делегация, сред които трима министри (на религията и даренията, на младежта и спорта, на туризма), висши офицери, политици и представители на медиите, както и 6-членен екипаж. Няма оцелели. Командир на екипажа бил руския пилот Г.В.Семьонов, втори пилот суданец, бордови щурман таджик и борден инженер арменец. Въпреки завидния си летателен опит екипажът изпаднал в крайно сложна ситуация поради разразилата се пясъчна буря край летището. Минавайки на втори заход самолетът се блъснал в хълм край Талоди и взривил. Всички на борда загинали. Въпреки, че самолетът бил произведен преди около 35 г., според менаджерите на авиокомпанията бил надлежно обезопасен с МТО радар, системи за предупреждение за приближение с терена и избягване на сблъсък с въздухоплавателни средства при полет. Преминал и задължителните регламентни работи по техническата подръжка, така че със сигурност бил изправен. Тогава какво се е объркало, питат се всички?! Делегацията пристигала по повод празника Ид ал-Фитр (Рамазан Байрам), отбелязващ края на свещения месец Рамадан. Повлияло ли е очакването от високопоставените членове на делегацията въпреки очевидните условия под минимума да се кацне заради мероприятието. Обективният контрол показва на разследващите, че екипажът настоятелно е търсил диспечерите от контролната кула минути преди катастрофата, но така и не получил отговор. Защо!? В съзнанието отекват последните думи на екипажа „Талоди ...Талоди... Талоди..”. Последствие от катастрофата е подадената оставка от министъра на гражданското въздухоплаване в Судан. |

The aircraft went down into a mountain near the airport due to limited visibility caused by a dust storm. "Russian pilot Gennady Semyonov was commander of the aircraft," said Yuri Vidakas, First Secretary of the Russian Embassy in Khartoum. The crew of the Russian-made plane included Armenian and Tajik nationals. All people on board were killed. The ministerial delegation was heading to Talodi, 650 km southwest of Khartoum, to celebrate the Eid al-Fitr festival marking the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan with the Sudanese soldiers mobilised to fight a rebellion in South Kordofan. Europe bans all Sudanese airlines, including Alfa, for safety reasons. The doomed aircraft, a propeller-driven Antonov An-26, (ST-ARL), was about 35 years old but had passed mandatory maintenance checks, the managers said. The crashed aircraft carried safety gear including weather radar, a Traffic Collision Avoidance System and Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System. | Three Ugandan helicopters crashed, 7 killed 12.08.2012 Kenya/ Mount Kenya forest - A group of four helicopter (three Mi-24 and one Mi-17) was on route to add strength to the AU force AMISOM in Somalia. One of the Mi-24 had an emergency landing on the ranges of Mount Kenya sending out distress call and the crew was rescued. The captain received serious back injuries. The Mi-17 landed on time at the base in Garissa. The two missing Mi-24 helicopters were found on Tuesday 14 August 2012. One helicopter was totally burnt with 7 reported casualties. The other helicopter crashed but did not catch fire. The eight survivors of the latter helicopter that were found Tuesday 14 August 2012 had trekked some five miles (eight kilometres) through dense forests in search of help. |
