  • US/ ID/ Jerome/ near Jerome County Airport (KJER) – An Extra EA 300/L stunt plane (N4BM) impacted cornfield terrain. The sole pilot onboard received serious injuries.

  • US/ FL/ Jacksonville/ Herlong Recreational Airport (KHEG) – A Beech T-34 Mentor (N134Y) experienced a gear-up landing. No injuries.

  • Colombia/ Boyaca/ Chita – A Bell 206L-3 LongRanger III helicopter (HK-3311) crashed. The pilot and co-pilot received serious injuries.

  • US/ KS/ Marysville/ Marysville Municipal Airport (KMYZ) – A Mooney M20E Chaparral (N2689W) experienced a gear up landing. No injuries.

  • Australia/ QLD/ Karumba Airport (YKMB) – A Cessna 180C plane (VH-FDH) ground-looped on landing, causing substantial damage.

  • US/ AZ/ East of Hayden – A Lancair Super ES (N74ES) force landed to high desert terrain, due to an engine failure. The airplane was destroyed by the subsequent post-impact fire. The sole pilot onboard the airplane was not injured.

  • Netherlands/ Rotterdam/ The Hague Airport (RTM) – A Beechcraft 300 Super King Air plane (N300PP) landed gear-up on runway 24 and slid 625 meters before coming to rest. All propeller blades were damaged in the accident. The captain stated that he had forgotten to lower the undercarriage.

  • Australia/ QLD/ Thangool Airport (THG) - Toll Aviation Swearingen SA227-DC Metro 23 cargo plane (VH-HPE) struck a small kangaroo on landing. The propeller blades attached to the right engine was twisted. No injuries.

  • US/ CO/ near Rampart Range - A military Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter from Fort Carson, US Army, 4th Combat Aviation Brigade, went down Wednesday afternoon in a forest in Douglas County. All four of the soldiers on board were evacuated with 2 injured and taken to Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs.

  • US/ NC/ Camp Lejeune - US Marine Corps Sikorsky CH-53E Sea Stallion, belonged to the Heavy Helicopter Squadron-464, Marine Aircraft group-29, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, made a 'hard landing' during a rappelling training exercise. One Marine died, 11 others were injured.

  • Canada/ 30 km north of Sept-Iles – A Bell 206B helicopter (C-GYBK) crashed. There were five persons on board. Two occupants died in the crash, 3 injured were taken to the hospital.

  • South Africa/ off Republic Road in Midrand – A Cessna 172M Skyhawk (ZS-IUD) flipped over during an emergency landing. No injuries.

  • US/ NC/ Davie county/ Mocksville/ near Twin Lakes Airport (8A7) – A Vans RV-8A (N393MC) impacted timbered open field terrain. The 2 occupants onboard received fatal injuries.

  • US/ TN/ Hickman County east of Bon Aqua – A Vans RV-6A (N216LA) impacted dense timbered terrain. The sole pilot onboard received fatal injuries.

  • Dominican Republic/ Este/ Santo Domingo/ Maquitera Sector – A Eurocopter AS 350B3 Ecureuil (N146AE) crashed on a house. A woman who was sleeping in the house was injured. The pilot sustained serious injuries to his legs.

  • South Africa/ Western Cape – A Magni M16 gyrocopter (ZU-RDT) crashed due to an engine failure.

  • Australia/ QLD/ Barcaldine Airport (BCI) – A Beechcraft B200 Super King Air (VH-FDB) struck a kangaroo during the landing roll, resulting in substantial damage.

  

03.09.2015

  • US/ NJ/ Bergen County/ Cresskill - A small Coast Guard auxiliary plane, Cessna R172K Hawk XP (N758DK), crash landed in a field. The 2 occupants were conscious and alert but had suffered non-life threatening injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital.

  • Pacific Ocean/ 300nm east of Manra Island, Kiribati – A Hughes 369HS helicopter (N9068F) made a forced landing in the ocean. The El Salvadorian certificated helicopter pilot was fatally injured; the passenger sustained serious injuries. The helicopter was operated by Whirlwide Helicopters, Inc., Port Vila, Vanuatu.

  • Afghanistan/ Logan province/ Azra district - Afghan National Army (ANA) helicopter crashed into a shop injuring the 7 occupants onboard.

  • US/ CA/ San Diego/El Cajon/ near Gillespie Field Airport (KSEE) – A Piper PA-28-161 Warrior II (N8441B) impacted two vehicles and residential terrain. The airplane came to rest inverted sustaining substantial damage. One occupant was killed. The other occupant received serious injuries and later succumbed to those injuries.

  • US/ FL/ Volusia County west of New Smyrna Beach – An agricultural McDonnell Douglas 369E helicopter (N16056) impacted trees and terrain while maneuvering during an aerial application flight. The pilot was seriously injured.

  • US/ GA/ Waycross/ Waycross-Ware County Airport (KAYS) – A Cessna 310P (N69HS) made a belly landing. No injuries.

  • Canada/ ON/ Stoney Creek/ West of Stoney Creek Airport (CPF6) – A Bede BD-4 plane (C-FLJS) crashed and caught fire. The pilot received fatal injuries.

  • Russia/ Belorechensk district of Krasnodar region - A Phoenix-Aviacor M-12 Kasatik aircraft (RA-2402G) crashed in a forest injuring the 3 occupants, one of them slightly.

  • South Africa/ Eastern Cape/ Cacadu/ Kouga/ near Patensie – A gyrocopter (ZU-DHJ) crashed killing the pilot.

  • UK/ Northamptonshire/ near Brackley/ Hinton-in-the-Hedges airfield – A training Cessna 150F (G-ATKF) crashed killing the pilot.

  • Russia/ Tambov region/ Kirsanovsky District/ Hmelinka – An agricultural Lilienthal X-32 Bekas plane (RA-0224G) crashed killing the pilot.

  • US/ CO/ Denver/ Centennial Airport (KAPA) – A Maule MT-7-260 (N7705) collapsed the nose gear on landing. No injuries.

  • US/ KY/ NW of Russell Springs - A Piper PA-28RT-201 (N8162S) force landed to open field terrain due to an engine failure. The sole pilot onboard received minor injuries.

  • Brazil/ Goias/ Airfield Brigadier Mario Eppinghaus Goiania – A training Embraer (Neiva) EMB-711C Corisco plane (PT-NNZ) crashed on landing into a fence. No injuries.

  • Brazil/ SP/ Lavinia – An Embraer EMB-810C Seneca crashed and caught fire. The occupants were not found. Authorities believe the twin-engine is involved in criminal activity because no one reported the accident or officially claimed ownership of the equipment. The civil police will investigate whether the plane was used to transport drugs.

  • US/ NH/ Laconia/ Weirs Beach Channel – An Evolution Revo trike (N2264X) crashed into a home's lakeside lawn. The sole pilot onboard received serious injuries. He later died from the injuries sustained in the crash.

  • US/ CO/ San Juan County/ near Ironton, east of Telluride – A Cessna 310H (N1099Q) impacted mountainous terrain. All 4 occupants onboard received fatal injuries.

  • France/ Haguenau (LFSH) – A Brügger MB2 Colibri aircraft crashed at the end of the runway. The pilot died.

  • US/ FL/ Miami/ near Miami Executive Airport (KTMB) – A training Cessna 152 (N6141Q) experienced fuel exhaustion and force landed. Both occupants received minor injuries.

  • Philippines/ near Manila-Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL/RPLL) - Qatar Airways Boeing 777-3DZER (A7-BAV), flight QR932, was descending towards Manila when the aircraft ran into severe turbulence. Some 40 passengers sustained minor injuries.

  • US/ TX/ Midland/ Midland International Airport (KMAF) – A Cessna TR182 Turbo Skylane (N4707S) force landed south of Midland International Airport (KMAF), TX. One undetermined injury was reported among the four occupants onboard.

  • Canada/ ON/ NNW of Fergus/ Centre Wellington – An Eipper Quicksilver MX II aircraft (C-IKAL) impacted cornfield terrain. The sole pilot onboard received serious injuries.

  • US/ WI/ ESE of Port Wing – A Piel CO338 Super Emeraude aircraft (N328TV) impacted farm field terrain during a landing attempt to a private airstrip. The sole pilot onboard received minor injuries.

  • Sweden/ Lake Alstern/ Varmland – An Yakovlev Yak-52 (SE-LXO) crashed killing the 2 occupants.

  • Canada/ QC/ Charlevoix/ Sainte-Agnes/ Road 138 – A Sky Cruiser light plane (C-IHVW) made an emergency landing on a road. No injuries.

  • Atlantic Ocean/ Senegal/ 110 km (68.8 mls) W off Dakar - A Bae-125-700A jet, registered 6V-AIM, with 7 occupants onboard, was reported missing about 110 km off the coast of Dakar, Senegal, during a flight from Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, to Dakar, Senegal. The aircraft operated on a medical transportation flight. On board were a French patient and three crew members -two Algerians and one Congolese- as well as a doctor and two nurses from Senegal. It is presumed the aircraft continued flight after hitting a Boeing 737-800 passenger plane (3C-LLY) over Senegal, flight CEL71, until it crashed into the Atlantic Ocean. After landing unspecified damage was found on the passenger airplane.

  • Japan/ 122km east of Narita International Airport (NRT/RJAA) - United Airlines Boeing 737-824(WL), reg. N33294, encountered turbulence while approaching to Narita at about 3700m (12000ft) altitude. One cabin attendant was injured.

  • Italy/ Isola Montecristo – A military Agusta-Bell AB-412SP Griffone helicopter (I-CFAC) made an emergency landing onto a rocky slope. Aircraft ended on its side injuring a pilot.

  • Australia/ VIC/ Tyabb Airport (YTYA) – An Yakovlev Yak-9UM plane (VH-YIX) overturned on landing. No injuries.

  • Germany/ Merseburg Airport – An Antonov 2TD (D-FWJK) flipped over on landing. The aircraft encountered a gust of wind during roll out.

  • US/ NC/ Louisburg-North Raleigh Airport - de Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter 200 plane (N181CS) crashed on landing. The pilot and 2 passengers sustained serious injuries.

  • UK/ Kent/ Ashford/ Woodchurch – A Supermarine Spitfire Mk IX jet crash-landed in a field.

  • Russia/ Tatarstan/ Baltasinsky District – A Robinson R44 I helicopter (RA-04151) made a hard landing shortly after takeoff. No injuries.

  • US/ NC/ Forsyth County/ Hwy 66 south of Kernersville – A Beechcraft A36 Bonanza (N36HT) crashed on approach. The 3 occupants onboard the airplane received fatal injuries.

  • US/ OR/ Creswell/ Hobby Field Airport (77S) – A Luscombe 8A Silvaire (N4948E) impacted open field terrain shortly after takeoff. The airplane was partially consumed by the post-impact fire and the 2 occupants onboard received fatal injuries.

  • US/ GA/ Rome/ near Richard B. Russell Regional Airport (KRMG) – A Vans RV-6A plane (N555TN) force landed to open field terrain. The sole pilot onboard received minor injuries.

  • US/ NC/ Louisburg/ North Raleigh Airport (00NC) - de Havilland DHC-6-200 Twin Otter plane (N181CS) sustained substantial damage during landing. The certificated airline transport pilot and 2 passengers sustained serious injuries.

  • South Africa/ Gauteng/ Rand Airport/ Runway 29 – A training Cessna 172N Skyhawk (ZS-NTP) flipped over on landing.

  • US/ NV/ Las Vegas-McCarran International Airport (LAS) - British Airways Boeing 777-236ER (G-VIIO) aborted the takeoff due to a no. 1 engine failure. After coming to a stop on the runway, a fire developed on the left hand side of the aircraft between the no. 1 engine and the fuselage. ARFF services contained the fire. The airplane sustained substantial damage and 2 minor injuries were reported during the runway evacuation.

  • US/ NJ/ Somerville/ Somerset Airport (KSMQ) – A Lake LA-4-250 plane (N1401P) impacted wooded airport terrain on takeoff. The sole pilot onboard received fatal injuries.

  • Australia/ VIC/ Millbrook – A Cessna 172S Skyhawk (VH-ZEW) crashed into the side of Black Hill and slide for approximately 100 meters, killing the pilot.

  • US/ NY/ Bayport/ Great South Bay – A Kitfox II plane (N52414) caught a float during a takeoff attempt and it was damaged. No injuries.

  • US/ IL/ Freeport/ near Albertus Airport (KFEP) – A Dragonfly MK II aircraft (N24TL) force landed to open field terrain shortly after takeoff. The sole pilot onboard received minor injuries.

  • Belgium/ Cordes/ Velaines near Tournai - An Aveko VL-3-B Sprint aircraft (OO-H43) crashed killing the 2 occupants.

  • Spain/ Girona province/ Pla d'Anyella/ Toses – A Piper PA-28-181 Archer II plane (D-ELMN) crashed in mountainous terrain, killing both (German) occupants.

  • US/ FL/ Marianna Municipal Airport,Jackson County – A P-51 XR plane (N6WJ) caught fire during while taxing. No injuries.

  • UK/ Wiltshire/ SW of Marlborough/ Manton – A Cyclone AX2000 aircraft (G-BYJM) impacted grassland terrain on landing. Both occupants were injured. One had a chest injury, the other a back injury.

  • US/ WA/ Seattle/ Boeing Field/ King County International Airport (KBFI) – A Cessna 150M (N704QR) started in motion during a hand propping event. The pilotless airplane impacted three parked aircraft, including a Mooney M20E, N1927Y (substantially damaged), and an unidentified Cessna 182. No injuries.

  • Poland/ Sochaczew-Bielice – A training Guimbal Cabri G2 helicopter (SP-NHE) crashed during an emergency procedure training (a simulated engine failure) with a student and an instructor. No injuries.

  • UK/ Hertfordshire/ near Tring/ Aldbury/ Station Road/ Church Farm – An Enstrom 480B helicopter (G-IGHH) came into contact with cables shortly after take off, crashed and caught fire. The pilot has escaped with minor injuries.

  • Pakistan/ Balochistan province/ near Mastung area - Pakistan Air Force, 31 Wing, Chengdu F-7PG Skybolt fighter jet crashed. The pilot ejected safely.

  • Germany/ Iserlohn – A training Comco Ikarus C42 plane (D-MWIG) crashed in a cabbage field. Both occupants received serious injuries.

  • US/ NV/ Las Vegas/ North Las Vegas Airport (KVGT) – A Piper PA-32R-301T Turbo Saratoga SP plane (N26849) made a belly landing. No injuries.

  • US/ WA/ Seattle/ Boeing Field/King County International Airport (KBFI) – A Mooney M20E Super 21 plane (N1282X) made a belly landing. No injuries.

  • US/ CO/ Red and White Mountain NE of Wolcott – A paraglider impacted a mountain face. The sole pilot onboard received fatal injuries.

  • Venezuela/ Curiapo/ municipality Antonio Diaz – A Bell 206B-3 JetRanger III helicopter crashed in the Orinoco River. The 2 occupants were injured.

  • Japan/ Kitami city/ Kitami District Temporary Operation Site (Skyport Kitami) – A Hoffmann H-36 Dimona motor glider (JA2528) veered off to the right of the runway on landing and skidded down the slope before the plane came to stop. No injuries.

  • Canada/ ON/ near Foleyet – A Robinson R44 helicopter (C-GZFX) crashed killing the 2 occupants.

  • US/ UT/ Corner Canyon - Utah Department of Public Safety Eurocopter AS 350B3 Ecureuil (N253HP) had been involved in a high altitude rescue mission in "remote and nearly vertical" terrain with a public use helicopter, by doing a one-skid recovery The National Transportation Safety Board determines the probable cause(s) of the accident that happened as follows: The ground recovery team member's failure to secure a rescue rope during the helicopter loading process in steep terrain, resulting in the rope fouling the helicopter's main rotor system.

  • Ecuador/ 23 mi S of Manta – A training ENAER T-35 Pillan aircraft (AN-212) made an emergency landing on the waters of the ocean.

  • Yemen – A Yemen Air Force Zlin 142 plane destroyed on the ground as result of Saudi bombing raid.

  • US/ NJ/ Atlantic Ocean SE of Atlantic City – A Mooney M20TN Acclaim (N370MM) crashed into the waters of the Atlantic Ocean. The pilot died.

  • Spain/ Requena (LERE) – A military Eurocopter AS 532AL Cougar (HU.27-02) rolled over during a training mission.

  • Germany/ near Konnern – A Beechcraft C24R Sierra (D-EHZK) crashed killing the pilot.

  • US/ IN/ Gary/ Gary/Chicago International Airport (KGYY) - A Beechcraft 58 Baron (N4199S) experienced a landing gear collapse during landing. No injuries.

  • Canada/ Yukon/ near Teslin/ Teslin Lake/ Nisutlin Bay – A floatplane caught a float and nosed over on Teslin Lake during a takeoff attempt in windy conditions. The two occupants onboard received minor injuries.

  • Panama/ Contadora Airport (OTD) – A Beechcraft C90GTi King Air (HP-2500) impacted a deer on takeoff. The deer was killed. The left hand main landing gear failed.

  • Australia/ WA/ Carlton Hill Station/ Carlton Hill Station Airstrip (YCIL) – A Cessna 172N (VH-FPZ) suffered a partial power failure in which the pilot conducted a forced landing at Carlton Hill Station Airstrip. The aircraft impacted the trees, resulting in substantial damage.

  • Colombia/ San Pedro de los Milagros – A Ted Smith Aerostar 600 (N164HH) supporting the filming of a Tom Cruise film (Mena), crashed in bad weather. Two people died, a third person was seriously injured.

  • US/ OK/ Stillwater/ Stillwater Regional Airport (KSWO) – A training Cessna 172R Skyhawk (N91934) damaged at Stillwater Airport during overnight storm, including N91966, another Cessna 172R.

  • US/ WY/ Interstate I-80 east of Laramie – An Alon A-2 Aircoupe aircraft (N6359V) force landed to US Interstate I-80, a major roadway, near Telephone Springs east of Laramie, Wyoming. The pilot was injured.

  • US/ NJ/ Morristown/ Morristown Municipal Airport (KMMU) – A Piper PA-44-180 Seminole (N263AT) experienced a nose gear-up landing during a return to the point of departure. No injuries.

  • US/ NC/ Columbus County/ west of Riegelwood – A Cessna 172P Skyhawk (N52445) crashed shortly after takeoff. The non-certificated pilot died in the crash.

  • Germany/ Siegerland Airport (EDGS) – A Cirrus SR22 plane (N6015K) bounced during a crosswind condition until the wing contacted the ground. The aircraft swung and came to rest in a field.

  • US/ TN/ Oneida/ Scott Municipal Airport (KSCX) – An Aero Vodochody L-39 Albatros jet (N139RT) impacted wooded terrain while performing an aerial maneuver during the Wings Over Big South Fork at Scott Municipal Airport (KSCX), Oneida, Tennessee. The aircraft was destroyed and the sole pilot onboard received fatal injuries.

  • UK/ Buckinghamshire/ Gerrards Cross/ Tilehouse Lane/ Denham Aerodrome – A Robinson R66 helicopter (G-LROK) rolled over on takeoff. One of the two occupants onboard the aircraft received minor injuries.

  • New Zealand/ Christchurch – A helicopter tried to land when the helicopter entered into a tail spin. The helicopter crashed, the pilot sustained minor injuries.

  • US/ NJ/ Atco/ off Jackson Road – A Cessna 150F plane (N8185F) experienced an apparent stall and impacted a wooded area. The sole pilot onboard received fatal injuries.

  • Germany/ Dobernitz – A Schweizer 300C helicopter (D-HHLB) while was performing an emergency landing, flipped over and landed on its side. Both occupants sustained minor injuries.

  • Germany/ Oberschona Langhennersdorf – A training SZD-9bis Bocian 1E glider crashed. Both occupants used a parachute to leave the glider.

  • US/ UT/ San Rafael Desert/ Mexican Mountain Airstrip – A Kitfox Series V plane (N4291R) impacted high desert terrain following a loss of engine power while on short approach to Mexican Mountain Airstrip in Emery County, Utah. No injuries.

  • Russia/ Republic of Buryatia/ Kabansky District – A Chernov Che-22 Korvet floatplane (RA-1783G) crashed into a river, injuring the pilot.

  • Brazil/ Ceara/ Uruburetama – A Tecnam P2002 Sierra De Luxe ultralight (PU-CMV) crashed into a mountain near the Uruburetama. The pilot died.

  • China/ Liangping County/ Hucao village – A Bell 407 GX copter (B-7702) crashed while filming for the TV show “A Bird’s-eye view of Chongqing”. The 2 pilots and 2 passengers died in the crash.

  • Russia/ Ryazan region/ Prosechye – An agricultural Lilienthal X-32 Bekas (C-2 Sintal) aircraft (RA-0660G) crashed while spraying crops with chemicals. The pilot died.

  • Saudi Arabia/ Taif area - Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) helicopter crashed as a result of a reported technical malfunction during a "routine training" flight. The pilot died in the crash.

  • Germany/ near Orsleben - A Zenair CH-601 (D-MWLB) hit electrical wires, crashed and burned out. The pilot died.

  • Germany/ Kuppendorf – An ultralight aircraft overturned during landing. Both occupants were injured.

  • Brazil/ Para/ Belem - An INPAER Conquest 180 LSA (PU-IPF) made an emergency landing and crashed. No injuries.

  • US/ VA/ Moneta/ near Smith Mountain Lake Airport (W91) – A Cessna 177 Cardinal plane (N2835X) impacted trees and roadway terrain while on approach to Runway 5 at Smith Mountain Lake Airport (W91), Moneta, Virginia. One of the two occupants onboard the aircraft was seriously injured and one received undetermined injuries.

  • US/ LA/ West of Stuart – A Baby Belle (N135PA) experienced a rollover subsequent to a force landing to cornfield terrain on the west side of Stuart, Iowa. No injuries.

  • Spain/ Valencia/ near Requena Airfield (LERE) – A training Piper PA-28-140 (EC-CLU) crashed near the runway. Both occupants were slightly injured.

  • UK/ Derbyshire/ Darley Moor/ two miles south of Ashbourne – A Vierwerk Aerolite 120 aircraft (G-OLAS) stalled and crashed on takeoff. The pilot (the sole person on board) sustained only minor injuries.

  • UK/ Nottingham/ Widmerpool/ Fosse Way/ Nottingham Heliport – A training Robinson R-22 Beta copter (G-TIMH) made a hard landing. Further inspections revealed damage to the tail cone, the engine firewall and the cabin floor.

  • US/ NC/ Manteo/ near Dare County Regional Airport (KMQI) – A Bellanca 7KCAB Citabria banner tow airplane (N86705) impacted the shallow waters of the Croatan Sound southwest of the departure end of Runway 23 at Dare County Regional Airport (KMQI), Manteo, North Carolina. The aircraft came to rest partially submerged and partially inverted, sustaining substantial damage. The sole pilot onboard received serious injuries.

  • US/ AK/ E of Iliamna-East Wind Lake Seaplane Base - A de Havilland Canada DHC-3T Texas Turbine Otter plane (N928RK), operated by Rainbow King Lodge, sustained substantial damage when it impacted tree and tundra-covered terrain, just after takeoff from East Wind Lake, about 1 mile north of the Iliamna Airport, Alaska. Of the 10 people aboard, 3 passengers died at the scene, the pilot and 4 passengers sustained serious injuries, and 2 passengers sustained minor injuries.

  • Philippines/ Bulacan/ Plaridel Airport – A training Cessna 152 plane (RP-C8691) crashed after takeoff at the end of the runway 35. Both occupants died. The pilot was practicing touch-and-go.

  • Syria/ Aleppo/ near Nayrab Refugee Camp - Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF) Mi-8/17 helicopter was shot down by MANPAD shortly after takeoff. Both crew members died in the crash.

  • Germany/ Salzgitter-Drutte – A Remos G3 aircraft (D-MTSL) was hit by severe wind gusts. Pilot tried to emergency land but lost a wing and finally crashed into nearby forest. The 51 year old pilot survived the crash with minor injuries.

  • Canada/ Thompson/ Thompson Airport (CYTH) – A Piper PA-31-350 Navajo Chieftain plane (C-FXLO) attempted an emergency return to the point of departure at Thompson Airport (CYTH) shortly after departure. The aircraft impacted timbered terrain south of the airport, sustaining substantial damage. The 2 crew and 6 passengers onboard were treated for minor injuries. The ongoing investigation has confirmed that the aircraft received an incorrect type of fuel in Thompson, Manitoba, prior to departing for Winnipeg. The twin piston-engine aircraft requires aviation gasoline (AvGas), but was re-fueled with turbine engine fuel (Jet A1).

  • US/ AZ/ Casa Grande/ Francisco Grande Hotel & Golf Resort – An unregistered hang glider clipped trees and impacted golf course terrain during an approach to land. The sole pilot onboard was injured.

  • US/ FL/ Miami International Airport (MIA) - Qatar Airways Boeing 777-3DZER, registration A7-BAC, suffered substantial damage when it struck the approach lighting system runway lights during takeoff from Miami International Airport, Florida. The flight QR778 continued to the destination Doha Airport, Qatar and landed without incident some 13.5 hours later. The FAA reported, that an inspection revealed damage, that was described as substantial.

  • Poland/ near Poznan/ Krzesiny Airbase - A F-16 fighter jet of the Polish Air Force likely collided with a drone while on approach to Krzesiny Airbase. There is confirmed damage to the protective coating and the fuel tank of the aircraft.

  • US/ GA/ Alma/ East of Bacon County Airport (KAMG) – A Vans RV-10 plane (N122WK) impacted wooded terrain east of Bacon County Airport (KAMG), Alma, near Rockingham, Georgia. The airplane was destroyed and the 5 occupants onboard received fatal injuries. Four men and a woman were killed.

  • France/ Haute Savoie/ Boisses/ Marais rock – An Eurocopter AS 350B3 Ecureuil copter (F-HCSC) tipped on its side due to a strong wind during landing. Two passengers received serious injuries.

  • US/ MO/ Lexington/ near Lexington Municipal Airport (4K3) - A Piper PA-28-181 Archer II (N121LK) crashed near the airport as it ran out of fuel. One occupant was slightly injured.

  • Russia/ Smolensk region/ Dvoevka airfield – At 17:30 GMT Russian Air Force Mi-24 combat helicopter crash landed upon returning from a training flight. No injuries were reported.

  • Italy/ Foggia/ Volturino – An Air Tractor AT-802F Fire Boss (I-SPEV) crashed during firefighting operations. The pilot was seriously injured.

  • Germany/ Mechernich-Bergheim – A Piper PA-28-161 Cadet plane (D-ENEU) impacted a field and caught fire. On Sunday 20th the pilot's dead body was found in a forest about 10km from the crash site.

  • US/ NE/ South of Paxton – An agricultural Schweizer G-164B Ag Cat biplane (N3628Z) struck a powerline and impacted farm field terrain during an aerial application flight. A post-impact fire partially consumed the biplane and the sole pilot received serious injuries.

  • US/ CA/ Carlsbad/ McClellan-Palomar Airport (KCRQ) – A Travel Air 4000 biplane (N9872) experienced a nose-over upon landing. No injuries.

  • US/ MO/ St Charles/ St Charles County Smartt Airport (KSET) - A Cessna 172P Skyhawk (N65191) force landed to farm field terrain near Rosedale during an attempted return to the point of departure. The airplane came to rest inverted. No injuries.

  • Russia/ 60 km (37.5 mls) from Bratsk – An Antonov 2R plane (RA-35141), operated by Yenisei Airline, force landed in a wooded area due to an engine failure. One crew member was injured.

  • Switzerland/ Zurich-Kloten Airport (ZRH/LSZH) – An Airbus A320-214 (HB-IJS), flight LX318, suffered a pushback incident. The left wing tip of the aircraft impacted mobile airstairs.

  • Australia/ NSW/ North of Moree – A Cirrus SR22 GTS G3 (VH-OPX) force landed at farm field terrain. The sole pilot onboard received minor injuries.

  • US/ TX/ College Station/ SSE of Easterwood Field Airport (KCLL) – A Cessna R172K Hawk XP (N180CM) sustained substantial damage upon impact with an industrial structure and terrain. One of the two occupants onboard the airplane was seriously injured and one received minor injuries.

  • Brazil/ SP/ Itapira – A Pipistrel Sinus aircraft (PU-HNA) flipped over following a forced landing in a rural area.

  • Mexico/ state of Sinalao/ El Castillo – A Cessna 206 (XB-JZL) was found after it had crashed, by Mexican law enforcement agents. Agents secured packages of marijuana, methamphetamine and opium paste. Two persons were arrested.

  • Syria/ Jazal oil field area - Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF) Sukhoi Su-22M-4 jet was apparently shot down and crashed.

  • Slovakia/ Nizny Hrusov – A Let Z-37 Cmelak plane was found crash-landed. It´s presumed it was an illegal flight, because the pilot cut out the registration numbers of the airplane and dissapeared. The airplane had a Ukrainian flag on the tail section. Some documents in Ukrainian language were also found in cockpit and 80 meters from the plane as well.

  • US/ VT/ Barre/Montpelier/ Edward F Knapp State Airport (KMPV) – An unregistered Ultralight impacted the terrain shortly after takeoff. The sole pilot onboard received minor injuries.

  • US/ AZ/ Phoenix/ Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (KIWA) – A McDonnell Douglas A-4N Skyhawk ex-military 1976 built A-4, engaged on military support tasks, experienced a nose gear collapse upon landing. The drop tanks were damaged. A small fire ensued with the aircraft sustaining substantial damage. No injuries.

  • Venezuela/ Apure - Bolivarian Venezuelan Military Aviation Sukhoi Su-30mk2 fighter jet (AMB-0460) crashed. Both pilots tried to eject but died.

  • Austria/ Flachau/ Griesenkar – A TL Ultralight TL-2000 Sting (OK-IUA 69) crashed killing the 2 occupants. The pilot was British (76) and passenger (79) was Austrian.

  • Australia/ Hay/ Hay Airport (YHAY) – An agricultural Air Tractor AT502B (VH-FNX) struck a motor vehicle. The aircraft suffered minor damage, whereas the motor vehicle was substantially damaged and the occupant of the motor vehicle sustained minor injuries.

  • Netherlands/ Lelystad Airport (LEY/EHLE) – A Junqua Ibis RJ03 (PH-ISI) made a hard landing on runway 23L. Its undercarriage collapsed.

  • US/ FL/ Spring Hill – A Cessna U206E Super Skylane (N8615Z) crashed on approach in a residential backyard. The plane was destroyed and the pilot died in the crash.

  • Pakistan/ Peshawar/ Badaber – A military Eurocopter AS 350B3 Ecureuil was hit by ground fire by terrorists who attacked Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Badaber Camp in Peshawar. Both occupants received serious injuries.

  • US/ MD/ NE of Taneytown – An unregistered Rans Coyote impacted terrain on takeoff. The pilot received minor injuries.

  • US/ WY/ Rock Springs/ Rock Springs-Sweetwater County Airport (KRKS) - An Aviat A-1B Husky (N288MD) impacted runway terrain on landing. No injuries.

  • Canada/ QC/ Val-Joli/ Estrie near 11e Rang road – An Adventure X-T Tiger motor glider crashed killing the pilot.

  • US/ OR/ North of Forest Grove – A Schweizer 269C helicopter (N290R) crashed, coming to rest inverted. The pilot sustained minor injuries.

  • Brazil/ RJ/ Angra dos Reis – An Ibis GS-700 aircraft (PU-TOF) crashed into the sea after run out of fuel. The pilot was not injured.

  • Italy/ LIPO Montichiari (Brescia) – A Tecnam P92 Echo JS (I-RMAR) veered off the runway on landing.

  • US/ CT/ Warehouse Point/ Skylark Airpark (7B6) – A Clark 1000 biplane (N9018R) experienced a runway overrun following a loss of power during takeoff. The aircraft came to rest inverted. No injuries.

  • US/ Las Cruces/ near Las Cruces International Airport (KLRU) – US Navy Beechcraft T-6 Texan II plane (166056/E-056) experienced a landing gear problem. A commanded ejection was made by the two man crew. The 2 pilots received minor injuries.

  • US/ MD/ Frederick County/ SW Mt Airy – A Cessna 150M (N714CW) experienced a nose-over during a force landing to a cornfield. The airplane came to rest inverted. No injuries.

  • US/ NY/ Saratoga Springs/ Saratoga County Airport (5B2) – A Schleicher ASW-19B glider (N27XX) impacted open field airport property east of the approach end of Runway 32, 5B2, NY. The pilot was injured.

  • Portugal/ Herdade da Leziria/ Alcacer do Sal/ Baixo Alentejo – A Sky Ranger 912 (CS-ULK) developed an engine failure. Pilot tried an emergency landing on a rice field. Both occupants, a couple on his forties, escaped with light injuries.

  • US/ WI/ Shiocton/ Shiocton Airport (W34) – A Cessna 172M Skyhawk (N20079) experienced a runway excursion and came to rest inverted in an adjacent cornfield during a landing attempt. No injuries.

  • Italy/ Borghetto Lodigiano – A SG Aviation Storm 300S (I-7209) veered off runway during landing.

  • Germany/ Winzeln-Schramberg – A Klemm Kl 107 aircraft (D-EKOK) crashed on takeoff. No injuries.

  • US/ NJ/ Manville/ Central Jersey Regional Airport (47N) – A Mooney M20M Bravo (N763RC) struck an airport perimeter fence during takeoff. The airplane force landed to open field terrain sustaining substantial damage. No injuries.

  • China/ Inner Mongolia in China - PLAAF Chengdu J-10 jet, assigned to 2nd Air Regiment(1st FD) crashed after a technical failure. The pilot ejected safely.

  • Portugal/ Valdonas airfield/ Tomar – A BRM Land Africa aircraft (CS-USI) stalled on the approach to the runway and crashed. Both occupants were killed, the pilot 41 and passenger 29.

  • Switzerland/ Aargau/ Zofingen district/ between Muhen and Kolliken – A Stoddard-Hamilton Glasair RG aircraft (HB-YEA) was attempting a forced landing in a field when it impacted a car. The car overturned, causing severe injuries to the driver. The aircraft came down in a field next to the road and burst into flames. The pilot was also severely injured. Later he died in the hospital.

  • Germany/ Altotting Airfield – A Piel CP.301S Emeraude aircraft touched down short of the runway during landing. The aircraft sustained substantial damages.

  • US/ NY/ Northwest of Morrisville – A Cessna 150H (N22721) crashed in timbered terrain. Both occupants died in the crash.

  • US/ AK/ Knik Glacier/Knik River junction SE of Palmer – A Stinson 108-3 aircraft (N6066M) overran the intended landing site to a gravel bar and impacted trees. The 2 occupants onboard received minor injuries.

  • US/ CA/ Byron/ near Byron Airport (C83) – A training Vans RV-7A (N507RV) force landed to farm field terrain. The airplane came to rest inverted. No injuries.

  • US/ WI/ Platteville/ Platteville Municiple Airport (KPVB) – A Cessna 421B Golden Eagle (N813CA) experienced a landing gear collapse subsequent to a runway overrun during an aborted takeoff. No injuries.

  • US/ PA/ Butler/ Butler County Airport (KBTP) – A Piper PA-28R-201T Turbo Arrow III (N313EM) experienced an emergency gear-up landing. No injuries.

  • Switzerland/ Bannalpbahn – An Aerospatiale SA 315 B Lama cargo helicopter (HB-ZGP) hit a cable of a small transport cableway. The pilot was able to land the helicopter.

  • Maldives/ Lhaviyani Kanifushi lagoon - Trans Maldivian Airways de Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter 300 (8Q-TME) was moored at Kanifushi Island Resort overnight. In the morning the aircraft was found to be partially submerged.

  • Germany/ Kleinmuhlingen – A Comco Ikarus C42 plane (D-MXPT) crashed on landing. The pilot was seriously injured.

  • Taiwan/ M Taiwan – Republic of China Air Force - RoCAF AIDC AT-3 training plane (0851) crashed. Both pilots died in the crash. Their bodies were found on Saturday 26 September 2015.

  • US/ MI/ Sandusky/ near Sandusky City Airport (Y83) – A Vans RV-6A plane (N215DG) force landed to farm field terrain. The airplane came to rest inverted sustaining substantial damage. The 2 occupants onboard the aircraft received minor injuries.

  • US/ LA/ DeQuincy Industrial Airpark – A parked Cessna caught fire and was completely destroyed. No injuries.

  • US/ WI/ Oneida County/ Pelican Lake – A Seawind 3000 amphibious airplane (N896CB) caught the right wingtip upon landing on Pelican Lake, WI. The sole pilot onboard received minor injuries.

  • US/ TX/ Tyler County west of Woodville – An agricultural Bell 206B Jetranger helicopter (N648CA) impacted farm field terrain during an aerial application flight. The helicopter came to rest on its side sustaining substantial damage and the sole pilot onboard received serious injuries.

  • US/ TX/ Granbury/ Granbury Regional Airport (KGDJ) – A Pierce Henry Bushby Mustang II aircraft (N929DS) impacted airport terrain off the departure end of Runway 14 at Granbury Regional Airport (KGDJ), TX. A post-impact fire ensued. The airplane was destroyed and the 2 occupants onboard received fatal injuries.

  • US/ VA/ Montgomery County near Blacksburg – A Schempp-Hirth Ventus 2cT motorized glider (N710JC) experienced a loss of lift, clipped powerlines and impacted open field terrain during the force landing near Blacksburg, Virginia. The sole pilot onboard received serious injuries.

  • Norway/ Oppland county/ Mountain Hatten – A Schleicher ASW 24 glider (LN-GNA) crashed killing the pilot.

  • Canada/ NT/ Deline Airport (YWJ) - Buffalo Airways Curtiss C-46A-45-CU Commando cargo plane (C-GTXW), flight BFL525 from Yellowknife, NT (YZF) to Norman Wells, NT (YVQ), suffered an engine problem and made an emergency belly landing. No injuries.

  • US/ TX/ Denton County/ east of Slidell – A Zivko Edge 540 aircraft (N540BF) impacted open field terrain while performing aerobatic maneuvers. The sole pilot onboard the aircraft received minor injuries.

  • US/ LA/ Ama/ near St Charles Airport (LA40) – A Zenith Zodiac CH 601 (N401) impacted wooded terrain. The sole pilot onboard received fatal injuries.

  • US/ IN/ Fort Wayne/ near Smith Field Airport (KSMD) – A Cessna 150F Commuter (N6922F) clipped trees and impacted residential terrain while on approach to KSMD, Fort Wayne, Indiana. The airplane came to rest inverted. One of the two occupants onboard received minor injuries.

  • Romania/ Odorheiul Secuiesc – A gyroplane (A11DUN) crashed. The sole 39 years old pilot died in the ensuing fire.

  • Germany/ Sandstedt – A Cessna F172M Skyhawk (D-EGJA) had taken off in Borkenberge. It collided midair with D-EBVM, a Piper PA28, and crashed. The Piper PA28 aircraft landed with a collapsed right main landing gear at Bremerhaven Luneort (EDWB). The Cessna crashed and all 3 occupants onboard died.

  • Saudi Arabia/ Jizan province – An AH-64 Apache combat helicopter was shot down by Yemeni Armed Forces.

  • US/ NM/ Belen/ Alexander Municipal Airport (E80) – A Beech C35 Bonanza (N1990D) force landed on a desert roadway. The airplane sustained substantial damage. No injuries.

  • UK/ East Riding of Yorkshire/ Beverley/ Linley Hill Airfield (EGNY) – A Reims Cessna FRA150L Aerobat (G-BAEV) crashed upon landing. The female pilot was injured.

  • Poland/ Burkatow – A MD 500E (369E) helicopter (SP-SOO) struck power lines and impacted terrain. Both occupants sustained serious injuries.

  • Iraq/ near Tikrit/ Saladin Governorate - Iraqi Air Force Bell-407 helicopter (YI-125) was reportedly shot down. Another helicopter managed to rescue the two crew members of the downed aircraft.

  • US/ KS/ Gardner/ near Gardner Municipal Airport (K34) – A Rans S-12 aircraft (N98ES) impacted terrain shortly after takeoff. The sole pilot onboard received serious injuries.

  • Bahamas/ Berry Islands/ Atlantic Ocean/ near Chub Cay – A Piper PA-23-250 Aztec (N177PG) ditched in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean, due to an engine failure. The 4 occupants onboard received minor injuries.

  • US/ OK/ Ellis County/ east of Shattuck – A Rans S-18 Stinger aircraft crashed. The airplane was destroyed and the sole pilot onboard received fatal injuries.

  • US/ NY/ Horicon/ near Brant Lake – A Pipistrel Virus SW aircraft (N537PV) experienced a precautionary fuel related force landing. The motorized glider came to rest inverted. No injuries.

  • Argentina/ San Luis/ Villa Reynolds – A military A-4AR Fighting hawk (C-533) experienced an incident during a maintenance work. A mechanic died.

  • Libya/ Derna – USAF MQ-1 Predator drone crashed and burned out.

  • US/ KY/ Dawson Springs/ near Tradewater Airport (8M7) – A Piper PA-28RT-201T Turbo Arrow IV (N2175K) force landed to open field terrain. The airplane came to rest gear-up. The pilot was taken to Madisonville Baptist Health hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

  • Germany/ Osnabruck-Atterheide (EDWO) – A Cessna F172P Skyhawk II (D-ENCL) overshot the runway on landing and overturned. One 75 year old passenger suffered minor injuries.

  • US/ TX/ McAllen Miller (KMFE/MFE) – A Canadair CL-600-2D24 Regional Jet CRJ-900LR (N248LR) made a hard landing. No injuries.

  • Spain/ BA San Javier – A military CASA C-101EB Aviojet (E.25-45) made a belly landing. No injuries.

  • US/ FL/ Clearwater/ St Pete-Clearwater International Airport – A training Piper PA-30 Twin Comanche (N21ND) was substantially damaged when it impacted terrain during an attempted takeoff. The certificated fight instructor commercial pilot was fatally injured.

  • US/ OK/ Bartlesville/ Bartlesville Municipal Airport (KBVO) – A Flightworks FW-2 TD Capella XLS aircraft (N903AB) impacted airport terrain following a loss of engine power shortly after takeoff. The airplane sustained substantial damage and the sole pilot onboard received minor injuries.

  • Brazil/ AM/ Pauini – A Neiva EMB-720D Minuano plane (PT-VCA) made an emergency landing on a sandbank of the river Purus. Three occupants onboard received minor injuries.

  • Germany/ Saarbrucken-Ensheim Airport (SCN) – Luxair de Havilland Canada DHC-8-402Q Dash 8 plane (LX-LGH) aborted takeoff. Upon lifting off the runway, the first officer retracted the undercarriage. The aircraft sank back on the runway with its gear retracted and came to rest about 360 m (1180 ft) before the end of the paved surface of the runway.
