• US/ FL/ Daytona Beach/ Daytona Beach International Airport (KDAB) – A Cessna 172S Skyhawk (N487ER) collided with a Cessna 172S (N487ER) on a taxiway at KDAB. No injuries.

• US/ WA/ near Pierre Lake/ Orient – An agricultural Bell UH-1B helicopter (N46969) crashed on a wooded hillside during logging operations. The pilot survived the accident with minor injuries.

• Mexico/ off Puerto Vallarta (PVR) – A Cessna 180 plane crashed into the waters off Las Glorias beach. The pilot and two skydivers received injuries, but survived. Two others are still missing and are presumed to have died.

• US/ WA/ Spokane/ Spokane River near Felts Field Airport (KSFF) – A Piper PA-46-350P Malibu Mirage (N962DA) crashed and sank in the Spokane River. The two men were fatally injured.

• Indonesia/ Pondok Cabe Airport – A single seat experimental plane with registration PKS-317 crashed and was consumed by fire. The pilot was severely injured.

• Pakistan/ Naltar Valley/ Gilgit - Pakistan Army Mi-17 helicopter crashed on landing. The aircraft was carrying a total of 17 occupants, 11 were foreigners and six were Pakistanis. Seven people died in the crash: the two pilots (Major Altamash and Major Faisal), a crew member (Naib Subedar Zakir), the ambassadors of Norway and the Philippines, Leif Larsen and Domingo Lucenario, and the spouses of the high commissioner of Malaysia and ambassador of Indonesia, Habibah Mahmud, and Heri Listyawati Burhan Muhammad. The ambassadors of Indonesia (Burhan Muhammad), Poland (Andrzej Ananicz), the Netherlands (Marcel de Vink) and the high commissioners of Malaysia (Hasrul Sani Mujtabar) and South Africa (Mpendulo Jele) were among the 9 wounded, suffering minor to critical injuries. The Indonesian ambassador Burhan Muhammad (58) died Tuesday, 19 May, after battling severe burn injuries.

• US/ GA/ Atlanta/ Dekalb-Peachtree Airport (KPDK) – A Piper PA-32R-300 Cherokee Lance (N5802V) impacted a major roadway shortly after takeoff. The four occupants onboard received fatal injuries.

• Slovakia/ near Nitra-Janíkovce – An AeroMobil 3.0 car prototype sustained damage in a forced landing following activation of the ballistic parachute recovery system. The pilot luckily escaped just with minor scratches.

• US/ HI/ Kapolei/ Kalaeloa Airport (PHJR) – A training Mooney M20E Chaparral plane (N7159V) made a belly landing. No injuries.

• Canada/ BC/ Surrey/ near Surrey/King George Airpark (CSK8) – A Kitfox Series V plane (N688KY) impacted farm field terrain. The sole pilot onboard received fatal injuries.

• India/ Alipurduar - Indian Air Force (IAF) MiG-27 jet crashed due to a technical malfunction. The pilot ejected, but was injured. Two persons on the ground died as a result of the crash.

09.05.2015

• Spain/ 4 km NE of Sevilla Airport (SVQ) – An Airbus A400M Atlas military transport plane (EC-403) crashed on approach during a test flight. Four occupants onboard were killed and 2 were injured. The aircraft was built at the Airbus plant at Sevilla and was intended for the Turkish Air Force.

• Australia/ QLD/ south of Point Lookout/ Pacific Ocean – A Lightwing SP 2000S airplane (24-5183) impacted the waters of the Pacific Ocean south of Point Lookout on North Stradbroke Island, Queensland. The sole pilot onboard received fatal injuries.

• Mexico/ between Obelisco and El Charco – A Cessna 206 crashed killing the pilot. There were about 45 kilograms of marihuana on board of the plane.

• Brazil/ Para/ Novo Progresso – A Cessna 182J Skylane (PT-CND) crashed into a tree and fell into the Curua river. The pilot died.

• Yemen/ Sa'ada/ Baqem district - Saudi Arabian Army AH-64 Apache combat helicopter crashed. Apparently both pilots were taken prisoner.

• Canada/ BC/ Courtenay/ East of Courtenay Airpark (YCA/CAH3) – A PZL-104 Wilga plane (C-FLKA) crashed due to an engine failure. The pilot was severely injured.

• Germany/ Iserlohn-Summern Airfield – A Schleicher ASK 13 glider (D-2182) crashed on approach. The two pilots onboard received serious injuries.

• Colombia/ near Barranquilla-Ernesto Cortissoz Airport (BAQ/SKBQ) - A Renegade Spirit aircraft (HJ-443) force landed following loss of engine power, shortly after takeoff. No injuries.

10.05.2015

• Russia/ Rostov Oblast/ Azov District – DOSAAF Antonov 2 plane made a hard landing and caught fire. The plane was destroyed in the accident. On board were 13 occupants. No injuries.

• China/ Fuzhou Airport (FOC) – Joy Air Xian MA60 passenger plane (B-3476) substantial damage in a landing accident. The plane suffered a runway excursion. The wings of the plane were twisted, causing the engines to strike the ground. Three passengers sustained minor injuries.

• US/ KS/ Dighton/ near Dighton Airport (K65) – An Air Tractor AT-502B plane (N879JA) force landed to open field terrain following a loss of power during the initial climb. No injuries.

• PNG/ Eastern Highlands/ Goroka (AYGA) – A Cessna TP206A Turbo Super Skylane (P2-NOX) suffered major damage upon landing following a loss of engine power on takeoff. The three occupants onboard the aircraft received minor injuries.

• Colombia/ Uribe region – Colombian army Sikorsky UH-60L Black Hawk helicopter crashed as result of a technical malfunction. Four crew members died, two were seriously injured.

• Yemen/ Nushoor Valley/ Saadah - Houthi rebels shot down a Royal Moroccan Air Force (RMAF) F-16C Fighting Falcon fighter jet (08-8008). The pilot died.

• UK/ Cumbria/ Carlisle/ Carlisle Lake District Airport (EGNC) – A small plane experienced a landing gear collapse upon landing. No injuries.

• Germany/ Melle – An ultra light plane crashed shortly after takeoff into a garden shed. Both occupants onboard died.

• US/ CA/ Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) – A Canadair CL-600-2B19 Regional Jet CRJ-200ER passenger plane (N932SW) carrying out a landing on runway 24L with the left main gear retracted/not fully extended.

• Mexico/ Cieneguita/ in the township of Urique – A Cessna 206 plane was apparently shot down by an armed people All 6 occupants died in the crash.

• Kosovo/ Pristina Airport (PRN/LYPR) – An Irish registered Aerospatiale SA 330J Puma civilian helicopter (EI-SAI) crashed during a training exercise. One medic of the medical crew aboard was injured.

• Iceland/ Mosfellsber/ Tungubakkaflugvollur Airport – A Jodel D-117A plane (TF-REX) impacted the shallow offshore waters. The sole pilot onboard received minor injuries.

• US/ TX/ Ranger/ near Ranger Municipal Airport (F23) – A Piper PA-28-161 Warrior (N3024S) crashed. One of two occupants onboard was seriously injured. One occupant onboard the aircraft received minor injuries.

• Saint Vincent and the Grenadines/ Lesser Antilles/ Georgetown/ near Langley Park airstrip – A Cessna 337C Super Skymaster (N504ME) impacted trees and crashed. The 2 occupants onboard received serious injuries.

• Philippines/ Legazpi Airport (LGP/RPLP) – Philippine Air Force (PAF) Fokker F-27-500 Friendship plane (10669) sustained a nose gear collapse upon landing. No injuries.

• Czech Republic/ Frydlant nad Ostravici (LKFR) – A Qualt 200 aircraft (OK-FUL 07) lost the propeller in flight during a test flight. The plane crashed and the 2 occupants received minor injuries.

12.05.2015

• Nepal/ Dolakha district/ near the village of Kalinchok - US Marine Corps Bell UH-1Y Huey helicopter engaged in a rescue operation following an earth quake in Nepal, crashed. The wreckage of the helicopter was found on Friday 15 May 2015 on a mountain near the village of Kalinchok, at an elevation of 3,383m (11,100 feet). All 13 occupants (six US, two Nepalese crew members and 5 injured civilians) of the helicopter died in the crash.

• Indian Ocean/ Persian Gulf - US Navy F/A-18F Super Hornet fighter jet crashed in the Gulf, due to a technical malfunction. Both pilots ejected safely.

• US/ VA/ Newport News/ Newport News/ Williamsburg Intl Airport (KPHF) – A Gates Lear Jet 35 plane (N80PG) experienced a runway excursion and subsequent ground loop upon landing. No injuries.

• Germany/ Muggenhausen – An Ikarus Comco C42 aircraft (D-MDHK) stalled on approach and crashed. Both occupants received minor injuries.

• Argentina/ Buenos Aires Province/ near Bajo Hondo/ San Esteban plantation – A Cessna 182A Skylane (LV-CXM) crashed killing the 2 occupants.

• Bangladesh/ Chittagong/ Shah Amanat International Airport – Bangladesh Air Force Mi-171SH helicopter (410) made an emergency landing and caught fire. The 3 occupants were injured.

• UK/ Strathallan Airfield – A Cessna 206G (G-CCSN) crashed on landing.

• US/ AK/Anchorag/ Lake Hood Seaplane Base (PALH) – A Piper PA-18-150 Super Cub (N2998P) nosed over inverted upon landing. The pilot received minor injuries.

• US/ OR/ Malheur County/ near Juntura – An agricultural Bellanca 7GCBC Citabria (N5042P) struck power lines and impacted terrain while maneuvering. The sole pilot onboard received fatal injuries.

• US/ TN/ Tullahoma/ Tullahoma Regional Airport (KTHA) – An experimental Starduster SA900 V-Star aircraft (N675GM) collided with Pitts S-2B plane (N110PS) upon landing. Both airplanes sustained substantial damage. No injuries.

• Canada/ ON/ NE of Fergus/ Belwood/ Belwood Lake – An amphibious Murphy Rebel floatplane (C-GCYP) flipped inverted upon landing on the waters of Belwood Lake. No injuries.

• Canada/ QC/ St Lazare/ near Montreal/St Lazare Airport (CST3) - An AAC SeaStar SP aircraft (C-FGCE) impacted farmland terrain in a near vertical descent. The amphibious biplane was consumed by the post-impact fire and the 2 occupants onboard received fatal injuries.

• Turkey/ Konya – A military NG-4 airplane crashed injuring the 3 occupants (foreigners).

• US/ AR/ Piggott/ Piggott Municipal Airport (7M7) – A Cessna T206H Turbo Stationair (N164CS) experienced a runway overrun during an aborted takeoff. The sole pilot onboard received minor injuries.

• Germany/ Dessau Airfield (EDAD) – A training Glaser-Dirks DG-100 glider crashed during a winch-takeoff. The pilot (19) suffered moderate injuries.

• New Zealand/ NI/ Bay of Plenty/ Tauranga/ Tauranga Airport (TRG/NZTG) – A Cessna 172M Skyhawk (ZK-DKK) experienced high wind gusts during a downwind taxi and nosed over inverted. No injuries.

• US/ AK/ Homer/ Homer Airport (PAHO) – A Piper PA-31-350 Navajo-Chieftain (N4079H) made a belly landing. No injuries.

• US/ CA/ Carlsbad/ Mc Clellan-Palomar Airport (KCRQ) – A Raytheon (Beech) B200 King Air (N505SP) experienced a gear-up landing. No injuries.

• Canada/ NL/ Gander/ Joe Batts Pond west of Gander Intl Airport (CYQX) – A Piper PA-18S-150 Super Cub (N505SP) impacted open field and timbered terrain. The floatplane came to rest inverted. The 2 occupants onboard received minor injuries.

• US/ TN/ Sharps Chapel/ West of Lake View Airport (TN10) – A Maule MX-7-180C Star Rocket plane (N567HW) impacted trees and terrain during a landing attempt. No injuries.

• US/ VA/ Louisa County/ Lake Anna – A Lake LA-4 seaplane (N1105L) crashed into dock. No injuries.

• US/ CA/ San Diego/El Cajon/ Gillespie Field Airport (KSEE) – A Piper PA-28-140 Cherokee (N7099R) force landed to a roadway. No injuries.

• US/ TX/ San Antonio/ Spring Branch, east of Kestrel Airpark (1T7) – A Piper PA-24-260B Comanche (N9032P) was destroyed when it impacted a parking lot on Highway 281. The 4 occupants onboard received fatal injuries.

• US/ HI/ Oahu/ Waimanalo/ Bellows Air Force Station – 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (USMC) MV-22 Osprey tilt-rotor aircraft sustained substantial damage upon impact during landing. One personnel onboard received fatal injuries. The remaining 21 occupants onboard received injuries. A second Marine died as a result of the crash on Wednesday 20 May 2015.

• US/ AZ/ Bullhead City/ SW of Laughlin/Bullhead Int’l Airport (KIFP) – A Rockwell 114 Commander plane (N4775W) impacted desert terrain. One of the 4 occupants onboard received fatal injuries. Three occupants onboard the airplane received serious injuries.

• US/ CO/ Durango/ near Val Air Airport (CD82) – A Cessna 150C plane (N1924Z) force landed to a roadway. The sole pilot onboard was not injured.

• Afghanistan/ Khak-e-Jabar district - Afghan National Army (ANA) helicopter crashed. Both occupants were injured.

• Russia/ Stavropol Territory/ Sanamer – An Antonov 2 biplane (RA-56528) impacted a church during a forced landing accident. The pilot received injuries.

• US/ VA/ Flat Top Mountain in Smyth County/ east of Saltville – A Beechcraft 95-B55 Baron (N5816S) crashed killing the 2 occupants onboard.

• Austria/ Hohenems-Dornbirn Airfield (HOH/LOIH) – A FFA AS/SA 202-15 Bravo aircraft (HB-HES) collided with a tractor during takeoff. The driver of the tractor suffered minor injuries.

• Austria/ Hohenems/ Rhomberg-Steinbruch - An Antares motor glider (D-KKFE) and a glider collided in midair. The pilot (59) of the Antares lost control of the glider and the aircraft crashed. He died. The second pilot was able to land his glider.

• Germany/ region Ahrweiler/ near Bad Breisig - A Glaser-Dirks DG-400 motorized glider (D-KHWM) crashed in a wooded area. The pilot was seriously injured.

• France/ Corse/ Bocognano – A MD500 (369D) helicopter (OH-HNR) crashed during inspection and cleaning of electric power lines. The 2 persons on board have been injured.

19.05.2015

• Spain/ Valencia/ at sea five miles SE of Pinedo – An Eurcopter AS 350B3 crashed into the sea. Both pilots suffered bruising and hypothermia.

• Puerto Rico/ San Juan/ Isla Grande Airport (TJIG) – A Beech C24R Sierra (N781Y) experienced a gear-up landing. No injuries.

• US/ MO/ St Charles/ near St Charles County Smartt Airport (KSET) – A Piper PA-22 (N118U) force landed following a loss of engine power shortly after takeoff. The airplane experienced a collapse of the right main landing gear. No injuries.

• Czech Republic/ 21 zakladna taktickeho letectva Časlav – Hungarian Air Force Saab JAS 39D Gripen fighter jet (42) overran the runway. Both pilots ejected.

• India/ Assam/ 36 km south of the Tezpur – IAF Sukhoi Su-30MKI jet crashed due to a technical malfunction. Both pilots ejected safely. Two men and a woman were injured on the ground after they were hit by the aircraft debris.

• South Sudan/ Mandeng Airstrip – A Cessna 208B Caravan I (5Y-NKV) crashed on landing.

• Colombia/ off Puerto Colombia - A Hawker 800 plane crashed into the waters off Puerto Colombia, Colombia after being intercepted by a Colombian Air Force plane after illegally flying into Colombian airspace. The pilot died.

• South Sudan/ Melut – A military helicopter was downed by SPLM/SPLA. It is feared at least 7 occupants dead.

• US/ TX/ Refugio County/ south of Tivoli – An agricultural Ayres S2R-G6 Thrush aircraft (N3300U) impacted farm field terrain during an aerial application flight. No injuries.

• Italy/ Pavullo – A Dyn'Aero MCR R180 aircraft crashed shortly after takeoff. Both occupants received serious injuries.

• US/ GA/ Williamson/ Peach State Airport (GA2) – A Boeing PT-17 Stearman biplane (N55528) experienced a nose-over upon landing. The 2 occupants onboard received minor injuries.

• Bulgaria/ Lesnovo Airport – A SG Aviation Rally 105UL plane (LZ-GVG) crashed shortly after takeoff. The pilot received fatal injuries.

• Mexico/ Nuevo Leon – A Cessna 421 (XB-MTC) crashed in a field and came to rest inverted. The 5 occupants were injured.

• US/ CA/ Lovermore/ west of Livermore Municipal Airport (KLVK) - A Cessna 210F Centurion (N1842F) impacted open foothill terrain. The sole pilot onboard received fatal injuries. Weather may have been a factor in the accident.

• Chile/ near Talca/ Picazo Alto Hill – A Mooney M20K plane (CC-AMY) crashed and caught fire. The pilot died.

• Ukraine/ Vodyane – A Russian drone (923) was shot down by Ukrainian Armed Forces.

• Germany/ near Schonebeck/ Kleinmuhlingen – A Comco Ikarus C42 (D-MWAB) crash landed at the airfield. Both occupants were seriously injured.

• US/ KY/ Hazard/ near Wendell H Ford Airport (KCPF) – A Grumman AA-5 plane impacted timbered terrain. The pilot died.

• France/ Pas-de-Calais area/ Arras - Roclincourt airfield – A Robin DR 400 plane crashed shortly after takeoff. One occupant died at the spot of the crash, the pilot died in the hospital after a day. One person survived, but with serious injuries.

• Canada/ AB/ 40km N of Canadian Forces Base Cold Lake (CYOD) – An Air Tractor AT 802 amphibious air tanker crashed killing the pilot.

• US/ MN/ south Glenwood/ Lake Minnewaska – A small plane force landed to the waters of Lake Minnewaska. The airplane submerged. One of two occupants onboard received minor injuries.

• US/ CA/ San Diego/ north Island Naval Air Station (Halsey Field) (KNZY) – A military Boeing T-45C Goshawk plane overran the runway and crashed into the water. The pilot managed to eject safely.

• Papua New Guinea/ Morobe Province/ Lae/ Bumbu River – A Robinson R44 helicopter crashed into the river after engine failure.

• US/ SC/ Columbia/ near Columbia Metropolitan Airport (KCAE) – An experimental BR Legend Turbine Legend aircraft (N42BR) impacted a pond shortly after takeoff. The pilot died.

• Venezuela/ Cojedes state/ Solitude/ Tirado sector municipality Ricaurte – An Embraer EMB-820 Navajo plane (PT-RCN) was shot down by the Venezuelan Air Force as it was transporting drugs. Both occupants died.

• US/ MO/ Washington County/ south Caledonia – A small plane force landed to open farm field terrain after experiencing fuel exhaustion. The airplane came to rest inverted. The sole pilot onboard received serious injuries.

• Netherlands/ Texel Airport (EHTX) – A CASA 1.131E Jungmann biplane (G-BUOR) landed short of the runway. The undercarriage collapsed after striking a ditch.

• US/ CA/ Wasco - A crop-dusting helicopter crashed in an onion field. The pilot suffered burns to 80 percent of his body and was airlifted to San Joaquin Community Hospital.

• US/ WI/ Superior Richard I Bong Airport (KSUW) – A Bellanca 8KCAB Super Decathalon plane (N102EC) experienced a loss of directional control and subsequent runway excursion upon landing. No injuries.

• Kazakhstan/ near Taldykorgan – An ELA Aviacion ELA-07S gyrocopter crashed after it struck high power voltage lines. The pilot died in the crash.

• Germany/ Bartholoma Airfield (EDPU) – A Schempp-Hirth Janus Ce glider (D-5166) crashed during a winch launch. The flight instructor (30) and her student (21) were seriously injured and airlifted to hospital. The student later succumbed to his injuries.

• US/ CO/ Grand Junction/ Grand Junction Regional Airport (KGJT) – An Aero Vodochody L-39C plane (N6175C) struck a wire and subsequently performed an emergency landing. No injuries.

• Canada/ BC/ Powell River/ Powell River Airport (CYPW) – A Piper PA-30 Twin Comanche (C-FTEG) experienced a gear-up landing. No injuries.

• Germany/ Hullhorst - A training Schempp-Hirth Discus bT glider (D-KIBT) made an emergency landing in a forest, No injuries.

• US/ TX/ Llano County/ south of Marble Falls – A Beechcraft G36 Bonanza (N224TB) struck trees during departure and subsequently force landed to a roadway. The airplane was destroyed by a post-landing fire and the sole pilot onboard received minor injuries.

• Malaysia/ Kota Kinabalu International Airport (WBKK) – A training Bell 206B-3 JetRanger III made an emergency landing. The helicopter came to rest on its side.

• Australia/ QLD/ 100 km north of Mitchell – A Robinson R22 Beta helicopter (VH-HRW) clipped a tree resulting in a loss of control and subsequent collision with terrain. The pilot died.

• US/ MI/ 6924 76th St. Caledonia – A Bell 206B JetRanger helicopter (N206ED) crashed in a wooded area and caught in a tree, between 30 to 50 feet above the ground. Smoke was seen coming from the aircraft. No injuries.

• Brazil/ AM/ near Tabatinga – An Eurocopter AS-355N Ecureuil 2 helicopter (PR-ADA) crashed killing the 5 occupants onboard.

• Australia/ VIC/ Leongatha Airport (YLEG) – A training Victa 115 Airtourer (VH-MUV) encountered a wind gust. The crew initiated a missed approach but the aircraft struck a fence. The aircraft was substantially damaged and the 2 occupants suffered minor injuries.

• US/ MD/ Churchville/ Harford County Airport (0W3) – A Luscombe 8A (N2009B) impacted farm field terrain and came to rest inverted. The sole pilot received undetermined injuries.

• US/ TX/ Plainview/ Hale County Airport (KPVW) – A Beech A36 Bonanza (N221D) impacted terrain shortly after takeoff. The airplane was consumed by the post-impact fire and the 3 occupants onboard received fatal injuries.

• US/ AK/ southeast of Bethel/ Kwethluk River – Yute Air Cessna 207 (N1653U) crashed in the Kwethluk River. The sole pilot onboard received fatal injuries.

• Switzerland/ Solothurn/ Grenchen LSZG Lebern – A Piper PA-28RT-201T Turbo Arrow IV (HB-PLC) experienced a gear malfunction and collapse upon landing.

• France/ Blois-Le Breuil Airport (LFOQ) – A training Stampe SV-4C (F-BAHL) crashed killing the pilot.

• Venezuela/ near Barcelona-General International Jose Antonio Anzoategui Airport (SVBC) – A Piper PA-31T Cheyenne (YV2761) crashed on final approach to runway 15 at SVBC. The four survivors managed to leave the aircraft. Two of them received minor injuries.

• South Africa/ North West Province/ Delareyville – A Robinson R44 helicopter crashed killing a man. His wife and son were injured.

• US/ MA/ Vineyard Haven/ Martha's Vineyard Airport (KMVY) – A Cessna 340A (N340A) experienced a collapse of the right main landing gear and subsequent runway excursion upon landing.

• US/ NC/ Mocksville/ Sugar Valley Airport (5NC2) – A Rag-Wing RW-6 aircraft (N2305J) impacted an airport structure. The sole pilot onboard received minor injuries.

• Australia/ SW of Gladstone/ Theodore – A powered parachute impacted terrain shortly after takeoff. The sole pilot received fatal injuries.

• US/ UT/ Hurricane/ near Hurricane Municipal Airport (1L8) – An Aero Designs Pulsar III aircraft (N747N) impacted corral terrain and fencing following a loss of engine power while on approach to runway 19 at 1L8. The sole pilot onboard received serious injuries.

• Russia/ Stavropol Region/ near Hutorskaya - A Cessna 150G (N2909J) crashed injuring the 2 occupants, one of them seriously.

• Japan/ Nagano prefecture/ Suwa city/ Kirigamine Gliding Field – A Schempp-Hirth Duo Discus glider (JA07KD) crashed on takeoff. Both occupants were injured.

• Japan/ Hokkaido/ 10km southwest of Takikawa Skypark/ Urausu town – A Schempp-Hirth Discus bT glider (JA20TD) crashed in a grass field. The sole pilot received fatal injuries.

• Italy/ Rome/ Santa Severa – A Tecnam P2002 Sierra plane (I-7550) ditched in front of Santa Severa beach during aerobatic low height maneuvers. No injuries.

• Italy/ Abruzzo/ Teramo/ Alba Adriatica/ Sea of Tortoreto - Two airplanes were performing an aerobatics display along the coastline at Alba Adriatica, Italy, when they collided in midair. One aircraft, Van's RV-8 (I-LOVI), lost a wing and crashed into the sea, killing the pilot. The pilot of the other aircraft, Van's RV-7 (I-AMEL), managed to make a forced landing on the shoreline and escaped with minor injuries. The airplane came to rest inverted.

• Russia/ Volgograd Oblast/ near Voldsky – A PZL-104 Wilga plane (RA-0354A) crashed. No injuries.

• US/ AK/ Talkeetna/ Talkeetna Airport (PATK) – Two airplanes collided each other in midair near the Talkeetna Airport (PATK), Alaska. The airplane, a Cessna 172F Skyhawk (N8525U) was destroyed, and the other aircraft , a Talkeetna Air Taxi Cessna A185E Skywagon (N1694M) sustained substantial damage. One occupant among a combined total of six occupants received injuries.

• US/ KS/ Archer County/ S of Archer City – An agricultural Air Tractor AT-502B (N120TF) struck power lines and impacted brush field terrain during an aerial application flight. The sole pilot onboard received serious injuries.

• Austria/ Kasten bei Boheimkirchen – A Robinson R22 Beta II helicopter (OE-XJK) impacted the roof of a house and crashed. Both occupants were critically injured.

• Kenya/ Kiambu County/ Limuru/ Rironi – A Piper PA-28-236 Dakota (5Y-DMS) impacted structures. The sole pilot onboard received fatal injuries. Weather may have been a factor to the accident.
